So at least North Yorks is in with the rest of the crowd. You know what they're like in there! Did you get anything?

Sort of in with the crowd, but very much towards the periphery I think!

I got a pair of boots :) for £1, won't matter if they get stained by the grit in the winter :D

Hopefully they'll have more delivered by the time you visit there!

so guys not caught up yet with your shananigans but i nipped to 3 stores before work

1st had female trout that had a meltdown with my DTd the other day, got a few jumpers and suit jackets for my dad but didn't dare take too much to till as she was sat glaring at me:mad::mad: wasn't much on rails anyway and it was 6.30 looks like rails had been put out last night possibly

2nd store no rails out too early i would have to come back later, so i scanned a load of normal stuff and bingo several jeans and shirts £1:T:T:T my sis nipped back later while i was work and got some lovely dresses and cardis

3rd store lovely SA who helped me price check loads of gardening bits remembered me and went into the back and pulled out the rail and said here you go help yourself, so i had 1st pickings:T:T:T not much though got some jimjams, girls trousers, womens cardis

finished my morning shift at 3.30pm:mad::mad::mad::mad: went back for a quick peek but only rubbish left

DS2 still poorly so thats it for me today, 99% of my stuff gone to my family-i don't really need any of it

completely forgot about checking for other bits, including casserole dishes duh!

Personally I'm in favour of Tescos making huge profits. I realised quite a while ago that you can't beat em so why not join em and became a shareholder. Big profits mean big dividends but I would stress that it should not be through overcharging . Nevertheless, it does however give me a bit of a moral dilemna regarding abuse of the DTD system.

If you want the fairer system that you think exists than I would suggest you vote communist or move and then watch the economy collapse. The profit that companys like Tesco make provide income via corporation tax for the Government which in turn pays for schools, hospitals, police etc.

Sorry for the rant as it's probably a bit too heavy for this thread but please think about the bigger picture

What I was saying was not abuse of DTD but us receiving DTD when most peeps that have been overcharged don't know it, don't check there receipts etc etc. Remember DTD is Ts policy not ours & the overcharge shouldn't happen in the first place. Look at A how many times do they get it wrong compared to T? I rest my case :)

    so true

when i rushed to my local for the fanta/lilt DTD the shelves were almost bare obviously people had seen the 3 for £2 signs and thought wow what a deal. CS seemed to know nothing about the SEl being incorrect until I claimed the DTD, so obviously "normal" shoppers are buying thinking they are getting a bargain but in fact aren't. It may be so that Tesco aren't doing it on purpose but they are so incompetent in the same store even then when i went back the next day the incorrect SEL's were still there and goodness knows how many people had bought thinking they were getting a good deal.

I think we are doing Tesco a favour pointing out theire incorrect SEL's ie doing "research" that their staff and price integrity team should be doing
