Afternoon all, I've been on a T's tour this morning, not much to report though - just got a few bits of reduced stationery. All the good stuff seems to have disappeared now.

Sent an email to Mr Clarke asking for the situation "are we entitled to a refund if we have already had all our money back on DTD?" The reply...
I was sorry to learn that, not only were you overcharged for a Barbie car in our $$$$$$$$$ store, but that you were unable to obtain a refund when you later returned it. I can appreciate the confusion and disappointment caused.
In these circumstances, you would still be entitled to a refund of the correct price of the item, which is £12.50. This is because you had already been refunded this amount, which was the discrepancy between the two prices. The other £12.50 is refunded to you as part of our double the difference policy, as a gesture of goodwill.
I have discussed your complaint with Suzanne $$$$$, our Store Manager, who asked me to pass on her apologies to you for the upset caused. She will arrange for retraining to be carried out by her Customer Service Manager, &&&&&&& , and will talk to ######## personally. Suzanne has advised that, if you ask for her or &&&&&& on your next visit, she will ensure you receive your refund, and she can then apologise to you in person.I miss too many pages due to work so if you need an answer from me, please send me a PM.

I'm still confused,If you buy something for £10 and it should have been £5 you get £10 DTD, then if you take it back do they refund you the £5 or £10? I know I'm being dim:(Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
It would be refunded at the correct price. In your example the £5.:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

That's only because I didn't take part!
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I think I had about 8-9 different phones/sets and about 3-4 further opportunities where I just left them and couldn't be bothered or was just running late and couldn't face the "fight"
From that I have 2 phones left, one was a gift for the future parents in lawand the other one is waiting for our phone line to be installed and I need to check if it faulty or not(it wouldn't connect to the network for the p-i-l and the battery didn't last long enough to even play around with the settings a bit), if it's faulty I'll be back mr T! :cool:

If I remember rightly Celebrate ended up sending some stuff back as she had so many perfume sets, it was quite funny to read her shenanigans on the no buying toiletries thread. I was just a lurker then and my mouth used to drop in amazement at the amounts people used to buy, and now look at me, I could open my own branch of the body shop! Most embarrassing moment was 5 Bodyshop orders arriving in one day:oBeware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0
