What would have you expected then, googler?

This poster apparently is from London. Hoof, who ceaselessly promotes HN, is/was from just outside the M25, so their results seem to tie in with what's reported in the press - London thrives, and the rest of the country is in the doldrums. Therefore, the quoted success in and around London may not be repeatable or achievable elsewhere.

Possibly but hard to tell - we're offering full asking price on a house ourselves and theres still 3 other buyers after it (its been on since monday) so think thats just the way it is around certain parts of the UK.

hi yanda, really pleased for you!! we have been on with housenetwork approx 2.5 weeks and nothing. we originally signed with them as they were far cheaper than estate agents. we did not even have a courtesy call from our personal agent introducing himself. Oh well, pay your money and take your chances. still, it is still going to save us thousands if we do sell. Has anyone experienced how slow housenetwork are to up date the amendments of the wording or photos of your property?

Out of curiosity, whereabouts generally are you?
  • hi googler, the south east. fingers crossed for us!!
  • Another thumbs up for House Network here; Just sold my house (Hemel Hempstead area) for £415k after a few months on the market. I went for the 'First Class' package which was still under £1000... compared to over £4000 all the local EAs quoted so a no-brainer.

Service was excellent, everything was online, viewings were all confirmed by email as was resultant feedback and a full history of everything to do with the property available online 24/7. When my named rep was off one day his stand-in knew exactly what the situation was and progress with buyers wasn't delayed at all.

I'm afraid the days of using a High Street estate agent must be numbered.

The high street agents hate this kind of post. They must feel their days are numbered or at least a large chunk of their profits are going to disappear.

Well they've got no-one to blame but themselves. My friend went to a few high streee estate agents to register her details as a buyer and she said that all except one were rude and disinterested and made her feel very uncomfortable.
