If we HAVE to sit in economy then we take our own pillow and a couple of the hemorrhoid dounut cushions to sit onThe common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0

For anyone looking for a pilllow to use on flights, I THOROUGHLY recommend getting hold of a JW Marriott Accent pillow filled with Goose Down and feathers. Size wise the pillows are perfect for flying being 61cm X 25cm.
Needless to say I would never suggest pinching one from a JW  so will provide a link to purchase.

If I could choose only one thing to take with me, a good set of noise cancelling headphones would be top of my list, even the wife only managed a close second :cool:0

It's an old thread, but in my ongoing battle to survive Eco/Comfort Eco, I have revised my armoury and swapped my flat pack tablet table stand for a Sat Nav mount sucker thingy that I mount on the screen and use with my Ipod Touch and Galaxy S WiFi 5.0.
.... I am not sure there would be enough suction for the likes of an Ipad though.

Tojo those earphones dont look very MSE.

I have Lindy noise cancelling earphones £40, they are brilliant and would be my number one thing to take on a long haul flight0 -
I download programmes to my ipad. Watch a minute of them in the UK then pause them (otherwise the iplayer gets all uppity that you are outside the UK!) and watch them on flights.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. that's an interesting work-around...so you do this with a variety of programmes - watch a bit, pause, etc? I haven't tried watching more than one programme at a time on iplayer so not familiar with exactly how that would work but is very interesting.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
