I tried that and guess what the microgen department have a different complaints department. I was transferred only to be waiting for ages and gave up. (no callback facility on the microgen department)
Still waiting for payment. They are full of apolergies but I honestly think what ever I say will make no difference, they will not pay me until they are good and ready. Possibly end of this month (2 months after Fit reading)the latest before paying interest.I am now thinking of changing supplier and have threatened to do so. Best REgards Dave

Did you get to stage 3 where your case is reviewed by their Customer Service Director's Support Team?

31 days & counting for my latest SP claim

I sent this to ChiefExecutiveCompla@ScottishPower.com yesterday.

My generation reading was submitted at 9pm on Wed 14th August.

Having experienced a serious delay in May, I copied the result to Lynda Clayton & Fiona Gibson. Almost immediately I received an ‘out of office’ reply from Fiona so I know the email was sent OK.

The normal response email from MicrogenReads did not appear for several days after that so I also entered my reading via your website facility. Still no response from MicrogenReads!

A few days after that I received a telephone call from one of your colleagues assuring me that my reading had been received , was being processed and would be paid within your advertised time scale and that she would look into why the system wasn’t sending acknowledgements.
I finally received an acknowledgement from MicrogenReads on the 26th.

Since you claim to make payments within 28days (and indeed used to have no problem at all in making them within 14 days), the latest acceptable payment date would have been earlier this week.

There is still no sign of a payment arriving at my bank !

Would you therefore please now log this as an official complaint as offered in your email of 26th August and report back as a matter of urgency why your administration system has failed so dismally yet again.
No doubt they'll claim that their clock doesn't start ticking till the acknowledgement has been sent - in which case I'll be pointing out just how ridiculous that is.

Hi

If you have an on-line supply account I see no reason why the complaint shouldn't be visible there and handled by a shared complaints system. I know that there needs to be 'arms-length' separation between micro-generation & supply due to potential data access issues, but it's not completely beyond the wit of mankind to create secure access boundaries within a single system! ....

It would be interesting to see how long it takes to actually register the complaint, let alone process it.

I no longer buy electricity from SP although I'm pretty sure the credentials for the on-line 'account' I used to have still operate my FIT account.

But I won't be pursuing SP's 'official' complaints procedure - it's far more satisfying to send personal emails to CEO & complaints director. The email I've quoted above was actually a further reply to one their high level complaints team had already sent me when I initially reported that their system didn't seem to be acknowledging my reading.
