I will definitely ask my Dr about that stuff, it sounds great (if not a little odd...it works AFTER washing it off?! Weird!)
I know I thought that initially and was very skeptical at first0 -

Glad you posted this op! I just came on here to post the same question. The only time I've had a similar issue is just after each of my daughters was born and my hormones were mad. Perspirex helped at the time, (I think) but it may have just stopped because my hormones finally settled. But I've been suffering "deodorant failure" for a little while now and really need to get it sorted!0

Agree with everyone else. Go see your doc, especially if you're not actively trying to lose the weight. Could be an over-active thyroid.

The upshot of it is that the products you are using are terrible. You sound like me - PCOS and hyperhydrosis sufferer. The only mainstream deodorant that has worked for me is Mitchum, but doctors can prescribe even stronger products. I would also switch to waxing rather than shaving; if you look around you can get it done relatively cheaply (I can get a half leg, basic bikini and underarm wax for €14).0

Hi, I have the same problem, have done since I was about 11. Until I had enough and saw the gp 3 years ago. He prescribed me driclor (as previously mentioned) and it has changed my life!!! Seriously. It is really really strong and it does hurt quite a lot for the first week of using it, but after that it's fine. Also I find I only need to use it once or twice a week now and I feel like it's under control. You don't need a prescription and although it's about £6 it lasts for ages! Def cheaper than using various deodorant that doesn't work or makes it worse! Give it a go but remember it hurts your armpits like mad for about half hour for the 1st week or so but stick with it! Good luck xBusy mummy of 4.:j0

What a lot of helpful posts !
I tried the Garnier roll on after a recommendation on another thread and I very happy with it.
Like many I've used the Mitchums etc in the past but most seem to have a limited lifespan then the effectiveness tails off
Definitely as many have said see a GP . It's only too easy to take something embarassing and 'minor' as not worth mentioning.
I'd err on the side of caution on using too many anti bacterial washes and treatments. The last thing you want is smelly AND itchy bits.
The other thing I'd recommend is maybe to drink a bit more water, sounds daft if you're already drenched, but it's worth a try.

Another vote for Anhydrol Forte here. It doesn't need to be prescribed, you can buy it over the counter at any chemist.Shrinking my mortgage!

Fashion stylists to the celebs and stars attach panty liners to the armpits of dresses etc.
They soak up the perspiration and stop the sweat damaging the fabric. These can be quickly changed throughout the day. It might help as a temporary measure till you get this under control.
Another quick rescue tip is a mix of cornflour and bi-carb in half and half quantities just rubbed in (still use anti-perspirants). Again you can use it several times a day if necessary.
Hope your GP can help.0
