Allexie..so 5 days from the acknowledgement email to the update email then...

Looks like Im hoping to hear from them via email tomorrow then..and I was expecting my goodies tomorrow!

Elvis...so how long has it taken for your stuff to arrive then??
...and did you get your 'update emails' also??

Starting to get a bit despondent guys!

Delivery times vary, when I was ordering towels last Thursday I noticed on one of the order pages it said my order would reach me by Wednesday, that is 16/03/05, not all of my orders had promises like that, for instance, I ordered a rug and that comes from a different warehouse so no time was given for delivery, so I was just informed that my order would be passed on to them.

I didn't get any "update" e-mails, all I got was a confirmation of order e-mail, most of which came minutes after ordering but there are still some e-mails outstanding so I am wondering if they have twigged that a lot of orders are coming to the one address and have put the blockers on the orders.

I didnt get any 'update' email either, just the confirmation emails, and as you say these arrive literally minutes after, so they seem to be 'automated' messages.

So, your goods that've have arrived, have taken about a week?

I did everything the same as you Jack, except for entering Credit/Debit card details....I did not enter those details at all.

So, your numerous orders for you and your neighbour..did you put them through all under the same (ie - your) details??

I cant believe they went through without even the card details!

I even tried to put the transaction thro' with a 'wrong' card number, but it was declined, so the card details must be checked in 'real time'!

Lets just hope they havent cottoned on yet

My neighbour does her own ordering on her own computer, I showed her what to do. By the way...I vary my name and address because no card details are used by me....I use various names and tweak my address, so my address seems like a block of flats but all with the same number ie:-
Flat 1 Number xx
Whatever Road
Wherever
Someplace

Then you just do a Flat 1a .... Flat 2... etc...etc.

It's strange, I havent heard anything from Empire Stores since I received the last of the 'confirmation emails' yesterday.. no 'update of order messages' or anything
