Many Thanks to the OP for the info!

Elvis... I think I got as carried away as you did!! :beer:

I just ordered each item seperately, clicked 'new customer' each time, clicked on 'pay by debit card' each time, and always ordered something below a tenner!

Each and every time, it went through, subtracted the £10.00 discount, and even more amazingly, I used a Visa ELECTRON card, but put it thro' as a VISA CC!!! I didnt really expect it to go thro' but it did, and every time :rotfl:

Ive now had email confirmations, or rather automated 'acknowledgements' of each and every order..spanning from 11th to 14th March, and according to the emails, am expecting my first batch of 'free' (!) clothes tomorrow!

Im still pretty gobsmacked, altho' a tad worried, but surely they have to honour the orders, if the codes have gone thro'???!

Elvis_Bloggs.....have you or anybody else received a further email after the inital 'acknowledgement' confirmation message, or is it a case of thats it..wait for the goods to arrive now?!

Any ideas people?!

Hiya Brassmonkeys,

According to Empire Stores' website, they dispatch orders within 48hours from ordering.

I ordered my first 'batch' last Friday night, and was told to expect them on Wednesday..I'll keep you all posted!

This is the same company as redoute who as we all remember contacted Martin and said no more codes. They are only to be used once, is it really worth risking it?? They send codes out every week!

Hmm, I havent received my 'update on order' message yet, and I placed some orders last Saturday morning!

Not looking too hopeful now!

How long should it take for these messages to come through?

I placed my order on 9th March and got the 'update on order' thingy yesterday.....no sign of goods yet though!

Got my first delivery of a jacket and t-shirt this afternoon delivered on behalf of Link by a young lady in a taxi with her 2 kids in the back. On the address label it said "Urgent Delivery", which is very nice of them. The jacket really is quite naff and they have sent me a ladies one, the T-shirt is bobbins too, all in all, on a scale of 1-10 for satisfaction.....zero. Can't wait to see what the rug is like that I ordered.

My neighbour ordered 2 pairs of slippers (seperate orders) and they were delivered at the same time as my order, both of her orders and 2 jackets were in the one bag.
