    Afternoon all

Been very disciplined and not put pc on until lunch break. Have so much I need to get done today.

One pile of ironing done watching Friday's strickly second lot will be done later with yesterday.

Lil_me curtains still in one piece, feeling a bit soft (they are a heavy sort of woven material) even with out FC. I'll let you know once I've ironing and hung them if they have shrunk! I needed DS2 to help with holding the weight whilst I took them down.

Cats had a pigeon yesterday and a magpie today.

Glorious weather again so I'll do an hour outside next.

I'm on the slow today, can't really be bothered to do much but if i don't i know it will cause me bother later on in the week. Utility room is covered in clothes, kitchen table is covered in clothes too. Loads of bin bags of clothes need sorted through and i need to put more on ebay. I just can't get moving today. :( added that the kids won't agree on anything and are always complaining.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Ditto. Buying nerf guns in B&M was a big mistake too here.

We spent yesterday cleaning the patio and some of the garden, and took the junk to the tip this morning.

Today I have emptied and filled the DW, WM on 3x, made some bread and thought about doing some ironing.

A real breakthrough though - DH can finally see just how much I have had to do whilst he has been at work over the last ten years. He has NOT watched TV but has got on with stuff whilst I have pottered, and we seem to have achieved a happier and fairer balance over the last few weeks. Having a strict no nagging policy has finally paid off it seems

Lawns done, ironing mountain is just a small hill now and DH is doing it :) , park was heaving.

Garden tidied ready for autumn (downside to living in a wood). A real live frog appeared from a tub which caused me to scream much to everyones amusement, I don't know where it is now so the garden door is staying shut.

Must stick old tv and Freegle

Dinner is on - something slightly depressing about no roast on a sunday but we have building works to fund :D HM Fishcakes, HM cauli cheese, HG runner beans and then HM/HG apple pie with HM icecream (with eggs from our hens) so hardly slumming it :o

Anyone joining me for HHI at 7pm?

Starting round of mine at 7:45 Hex

DH has done a sterling job in the loft insulating, sadly it will take the whole of next weekend too but then it will be done. I may do a bit of sorting up there this week if I get time.

    I've been quiet ;)...

went to watch DS play football - and I picked a handful of hazelnuts (known hereabouts as cob nuts) while I was at it!

came home went to Mr Ms bought more GIN - I have three gin bottles 'doing' and a 2L pop bottle. MUST text the BIL's and tell them NOT to buy any sloe gin this year ;) (I am making sloe gin. I really didn't need that many sloes but it was so long since I last made it that I forgot. My mother was MOST suspicious - how did I know they were sloes - anyway she relented and drank it, last time. Mind you, were SHE making it I would be suspicious, as she identified a black, round berry on a short, very prickly shrub in the Valley Park as sloes when I pointed them out and said I wondered what they were. I KNOW they weren't sloes:eek:)
Did a gammon (boiled) 2 veg, mash and yorkshires for dinner (nyom)

Have a teeny bit left:D but not tonic:o so it will have to wait (I love the smell of neat gin but cannot drink it neat so I'll sniff it for a bit, instead;))

ironing nearly all done, there was loads this weekend and I've some to do. felt a bit 'odd' earlier so went to lie down :o 2 hours:eek:
so now I'm prepping for the week ahead.
