  • :o to not having posted for five days!

Nothing major happening at BC Towers, although I'm very much aware that we're going to have too much month left at the end of the money. I need to get a plan together of how to manage this, which, shock-horror, might even include putting something on the dreaded CC to see us through. On the plus side though, even if we need to do this, it won't increase the debt overall but just offset part of the payments we've already made for this month. Needs must, I guess. I'll have a look at this later, and will then post up a revised plan for the rest of the month.

:TI like this quote, well i don't like but it explains my situation very well this month! We're outta cash and it's only the 18th :eek:

Waaaaaay too much month left for my liking:rotfl:

  • A little too late, but I've finally got myself back to checking the bank account every day :o, why oh why can't I do this regularly instead of waiting til the proverbial hits the fan .

Anyway, between now and the end of the month I have bills of £270 to clear the account and £100 cash due in to the account. The net effect of this will be to leave us short by £1.28.

In addition, we will need to buy our next food shop and tank of fuel on the CC :(.

Oh well, best get on with it .

  • I thought I had struck lucky yesterday when I found about £7 in my purse that I had forgotten about..enough to cover the shortfall plus a bit of a margin. But then, just a few hours later my hopes were shot when I was reminded that I have a birthday to buy for by the end of next week...:undecided. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

On the plus side, I've just signed up to a new challenge - thanks DFW321 - the 2nd Purse Challenge. I'm not sure how I'll do with this, but willing to give it a go as I think it might be fun :). I usually do my shop online, but for the monthly £10 for the challenge I'm going to see how I go with an actual 2nd purse and using cash.

Tomorrow I'll need to do a quick update on the bank position, but other than that, I've not got plans, just gonna relax (between driving family to various places!).

Can't avoid this one unfortunately. It's for a work colleague, I'm part of a group who always contribute cash at birthdays. On the plus side, I'll get the cash for my birthday, but that's not til later in the year

It really made me giggle at the thought of giving him a picture of my kids in a frame too :rotfl:. Sorry, don't mean to sound ungrateful, but the thought of seeing his face if presented with this gift is hysterical!!
