We had a trip to the vets last night which has resulted in a bill of £177 . We've never had insurance on the cat, so will have to find the money from somewhere. Basically that means taking it out of the money which was set aside to replace the 2nd car if we found we couldn't manage with just the one. It's quite a blow, but at least it's not going on the credit card. At this stage I'm not sure what the cost will be long term as the cat may need further treatment
. Should all be a lot clearer after the weekend when we get blood results back.
So today I need to draw (more) money from the savings account.

What's up with your kittencat?:(Debt £26k 18/10/140 -
Hi Banwa
We're not really sure what the problem is with the cat, although it looks like it might be some sort of allergy. The upshot is that he's sick, frequentlyHe's quite skinny by nature anyway, but is even worse at the moment. Hopefully with the stuff the vet has given him and the results of the tests we'll be able to get things sorted. Just hope it doesn't cost much more _pale_.

Good news item today - I've sold a book on Amaz0n
. I've had to pay £2.84 postage today, but will be credited with £17.99 in a couple of weeks, so £15 up
Also made a payment of £40 to a non-target CC whilst in the post office, which included a £1 overpayment
Shopping in C0stco last night was £215, but included the Christmas turkey and a piece of beef for Christmas. I'm trying to get myself organised now that it's only 3 weeks away, but still feel like there's loads to do. Work is really busy as well and taking up a lot of brain-space, meaning that I'm not able to maintain much focus elsewhere.
I think I need to write everything down in a notebook and keep it with me, perhaps this will help keep me organisedFull LBM 26 Sept 110 -
Well done on the sale and on the extra card payment.
I hope your cat is better. We have a cat who is so dosey he is unbelievable. We got him from a rescue shelter about three years ago.

Thanks Bonnington. I think he is a bit better - he seems less jumpy and is going out a bit more than he has been of late. We've still had a couple of sicky episodes, but not as much as we have been having, thankfully.Full LBM 26 Sept 110 -
I've got a really busy day ahead of me today
It's one of those Sundays where I have to drive everyone everywhere and somehow fit my other stuff in around it.
I've already dropped OH and DS to their club and will pick them up again later. Next will be to drop DD2 into work and then pick her up later, hopefully at about the same time I pick the boys up.
In between I need to finish off some Av0n deliveries and see one of my reps to sort a few of her queries, get some washing done, dried and ironed and visit my Mum.
So not really any time for debt-busting today. I've booked tomorrow off work as I knew it was going to be a busy weekend, so am looking forward to a much quieter day tomorrow.

Can't believe it's been a week since I last posted
.
It's been a really busy week, especially in work, I've been shattered by the evening.
I finally got around to updating my spreadsheet yesterday, and things are very tight. We've done quite a lot of the Christmas shopping now, but still a few bits to do. My parents are now coming to us on Christmas day, so that's a little bit extra to cater for.
We had a small win on the lottery - £10 - this week. I immediately paid this off against the target card before it could go anywhere else. I made the payment up to £11.84 so that I could see the balance drop below £800...it was £799.99 :rotfl:. I'd need to pay another £15 to keep it there though because of the interest going on before the statement date.
I guess, like lots of people, our heating has been on a lot recently. It's quite icy here this morning, but I don't cope with cold particularly well, so the heating is on and the house is cozy. I'll need to allow for a possible increase in our heating costs, but for now, we're coping.

We've been naughty tonight and been out for a steak
. It was a very spontaneous outing, me OH and DS and a bill for £65 . In our defence, we worked out that we haven't actually been out since April, so I'm not going to beat myself up about it. Sometimes you need a short-term treat to keep you going at the long-term goals. Well, that's my excuse anyway
OH fixed the side mirror on the car today. It was knocked completely off while we were in work. I returned to the car to find the entire casing hanging by two wires and the mirror completely missing . Anyway, OH bought the new glass (mirror) yesterday and has made use of superglue, builders mastic (I think!) and tape to fashion some kind of repair, so we have a 'working' mirror again now!Full LBM 26 Sept 110
