Well from my list, which was to:
- draw some money back from savings for Christmas spends and oven repair (I hate taking money out of my savings now
) - done
- update spreadsheet - done, but things are tighter than I hoped, so the £130 I received this week from Av0n has now disappeared into the bottomless pit of my current account
- research oven heating element costs online (DH to do this) -done, should be delivered today...hope so
- get T3sc0 points converted to train ticket vouchers ready for renewal in next few weeks - checked this out, but I haven't got enough points to convert to tickets, so will now have to plan whether we'll buy weekly or monthly tickets for December as we won't be in work over Christmas
, still got quite a bit of work to do so hoping for even more from this, although payout won't be til December.
Target cc balance has now updated and is £864, a huge difference from where we started. I'm not sure what I'll be able to do re overpayments in December, will need to decide as we go along.

It must be the week for ovens.
I had to order a new bulb and holder so we can see what is cooking. Not certain if our element or fan needs to be replaced. The back part of the oven burns the food slightly.

I'm pleased to report that the oven is now back online
. We received the part via the web today and OH fitted it this evening. Even though I don't do the cooking, it's good to know that we can now cook the usual range of foods.
I had lunch out today, and my friend unexpectedly paid for it...result
Other than that, not much to report today. I'm on countdown now to payday, which is next Wednesday. Bring it on...;)

I spent some time on the weekend re-reading my diary from the beginning and I'm so glad I did
.
One of the things that struck me, was that at the beginning when I was fully motivated and enthusiastic, I was keeping a much closer eye on the small amounts of money that were passing through my hands. I think my focus has unintentionally moved away from this and consequently I'm losing track of our daily spends and am being less disciplined.
So, I'm going to "reboot" my efforts and get back to keeping an eye on the detail as well as the bigger items that I need to deal with.
The timing is good too, since it's payday on Wednesday and yet another chance to start afresh.
Between now and then, I need to monitor my bank account very closely as I am worried we could dip beyond the overdraft if everything that's out there were to clear before the end of tomorrow . I've got a cheque to pay in today which will help avoid this possibility and DD2s pay goes into my account tomorrow and she's not likely to want (all of) it before my pay arrives on Wednesday...phew!
I need to post a list up to get focused...;)

That's fantastic, well done Been:T
I know what you mean about refocusing. I might reread my diary too...Debt £26k 18/10/140 -
I drew £10 out of the bank yesterday and now have 25p left
. I was hoping it might have lasted longer than a day
and I haven't even spent anything today..yay...a NSD
. So here's where it's gone:
Milk, biscuits and a chocolate bar - £1.45
Birthday gifts - £6.80
DS (unexpected need) - £1.50
It goes so easily... I've no plans to draw anything else out today, although OH might do so and DD2 would like some of her pay to go shopping tomorrow (although technically this bit isn't my money, I'm just looking after it).
Things to do this week:- draw rest of Christmas money from saver account
- get final Christmas shopping list together and get the shopping finished
- cash-in some premium bonds for Christmas food shop (I save a small amount in PBs for this purpose)
- update spreadsheet ready for December
- activate r3dsp0thanky account as I've transferred my T3sc0 points to it
- decide if I'm buying a monthly or weekly train ticket, it's due to be renewed by Thursday
- chase up e0n for the refund they owe me..they are being really slow
- check for any surveys
.

OH has been out this evening and has got himself a parking ticket  So that's a complete waste of £35  I know it wasn't intentional, but I'm really frustrated about it
.
On the plus side, I managed to make 75p on surveys lolFull LBM 26 Sept 110 -
Woohoo it's payday :j. It's a lovely fresh start to a lovely new month
. I love Christmas, and even though this Christmas will be an MSE one :money:, I'm convinced it's going to be one of the best :T, as I'm not going to be worrying about the bills arriving in January
.
I've just checked my bank account, my pay has arrived, and also the e0n refund is showing as pending for tomorrow, and I didn't even get round to chasing them up
.
Also, a quick calculation re train ticket renewal, should result in a saving of £16 on mine and £37 on OH'sdue to Christmas leave and using the T3sco rewards vouchers. I think I'll put half of this to target card overpayment and hold the rest until the end of the month, just in case we overspend in other areas.
