    Good Morning x
Forever Saving - hugs to your DD. Children can be so cruel x
Uolypool - the only positive of DD not going to uni this year is that that she is still living at home. I can imagine how you are feeling though x
Bargain Bird - hope you feel brighter soon x

The weather is supposed to be lovely midweek with a late Indian Summer :T:T:T The trees are beautiful where we are and the sun just highlights the autumn colours. The trees are very advanced this year and hope that does not bode for a harsh winter.

Well hoping for a baking day today - if I can enlist the troops! I plan to make a cake for my parents and some apple pies as I have been given some more. I also hope to make quiche for tea:T:T:T

    Have a good day x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.

Bitsy Hope your DS has a lovely birthday loved the cake

Well we had a lovely meal last night as my son is here now for the week.
OS BM on, washing blowing in the breeze, roast beef sandwiches for lunch for the men as F1 is on later so they will be watching that.
So I will tidy up my bedroom and go through the two chest of drawers in there and get rid of some things we no longer use and wear.
Then just do some knitting later.

Hope everyone has a lovely day.:)

    Morning my lovelies!

Had a really good day yesterday, met up with OH after the festival, but had to call it quits early as had been drinking in 12! So i'm up early and OH is in bed, no idea what time he came home, but he felt the need to wake me and tell me we are going for a fry up this morning!!

Need to do more washing, get to the shops and get lunch bits and add soem more money to the emergency card.

*hugs* to everyone who's sent DS or DD off to uni this weekend

Morning all, last lie in til god knows when, have just exercised. I have loads to do today, hopefully it will tire me out so I sleep well tonight before my new mon-fri routine of 7.30-5.30 work and uni begins.
Put soup from yesterday's chicken carcass in the SC and start glac! chestnuts and bread. I also have 400ml of chicken juice/jelly, should I use this in the soup? Or something else?
Buy washing powder, stationary, socks etc
    Wash everything!
Deep cleaning even though my shelves aren't here yet!
I hate going into town, it's too busy! I'm hoping I can do everything in half an hour and be out before the crowds arrive. If only I didn't have so much to do, OH said there's a huge carboot sale going on the other side of richmond park :(

I bought some posh organic pure magic blahlah grapefruit juice from approved food a month ago and it's sooo good I've been looking for it in shops, but it's £3 a carton!!! Not paying that, I could buy 10 grapefruits!

    Morning all,
grey clouds here today, ESSEX so it's you who has pinched the sun. Woke with a thumping headache so yup the meds have kicked in, one of the 20 odd side effects.
DH wouldn't go to hosp y/day so I got him to put his ankle in iced water then I bound it with crepe (sp) bandage the swelling has gone down a bit, he's happy that we can walk to the pub today We always meet friends at our local for a catch up at lunchtime on Sundays, not being allowed alcohol I'ts gonna be strange.
Roast beef & all trimmings for DH's dinner. Chick salad for me.
Kitchen cleaned, dw emptied and ironing hidden until tomorrow.
JC. I can't stand the smell of mint sauce either.
BITSY, hope your DS has a wondefull birthday.
SISTERCAS, well done to your DD on her job
Lots of poorlies on here so sending ((((((((((healing hugs)))))))))))
    Have a good day all.

Happy birthday Master Bitsy - hope the party goes well!!

No rain today, but looking cloudy.

Had a good night sleep, but some weird dreams :rotfl:.

I need to pop to shops for a few bits, money is a bit tight this month what with my big holiday coming up in 4 weeks, so I'm not doing a monthly shop. I'm trying to live out of cupboards and freezer, but need few things like eggs and fruit. I'm hoping to get to Morrisons when it opens.

OS wise - WM on, DW needs emptying, going to take stuff to the tip on way to shops, going to make a big lasagne later which will probably be 4 or 5 meals worth.

No other plans for the day, I need to do a factory restore on my new laptop as I'm having a few problems with it which Acer couldn't resolve so they told me that the restore will work. Luckily I haven't got too much saved on here but need to back-up what I have first before I can do it.

    Have a great day all

    x
