A few posters on here pushing 30 seem to see it fit and acceptable to live in their parents house under their wings. Absolutely scandalous. Do their parents not deserve their own lifes? Thank you.

Sometimes I actually feel embarrased to be even associated with this forum.
This thread has only reminded me of why.0 -
18-25I was 19 the first time and 21 the second. I couldn't live with my parents, I like my own space and independence, however, if their place is big enough and you get on well, I don't think there is necessarily anything wrong with it.0

Anyway, I moved out at 18 to University. Considering my parents financially supported me there I can hardly say that I made an adult decision to move away. Then I moved back home with them at 21 for 6 months, then moved out. I moved back in for four months a couple of years when my Mum was dying and following her death.
Can we have an additional option for this scenario OP?0 -

18-2518 when I went to uni. Don't think that really counts given I was financially dependent and home for all the long holidays.
Never lived at home after uni. Bought my first home a year after uni at 22.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Moved out at 14 and lived rough on the streets does that count'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0
