Navsure Ext GPS ariel £1 Halfords Milton Keynes

Bletchley branch had loads of these for £1 - cant remember which model. Also had lots of mounting kits (again Navsure) for £1.

Nearly picked one up for my Navman PIN 570 - but the connector looked pretty specialist.

Also big pile of car mats £2.50 per mat by the door - lots of decent Cannon branded mats available.

  • wonder if this is nationwide?
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)
    Quidco and Topcashback, £4,569
    Shopandscan, £2,840
    Tesco Double The Difference, £2,700
    Thomson EU261/04 Claim, £1,700
    British Airways EU261/04 Claim, EUR1200
  • Same offers in my local branch too. However, till price of the GPS antennas came up as £7.00 a quick conversation with the manager soon bought that down to £1.00 though.

I bought one for my iPAQ RX5935, it fits without a problem as this is the standard commercial GPS connector. You shouldn’t have a problem with other GPS devices such as the TOMTOM versions. But if your really worried try before you buy it. You supposed to use it if you have heated screens, but it also helps in Central London and anywhere visibility of the sky is poor or limited.

I called in to the halfords near handforth and they were still up at £8.99 :(

the connector is a standard MCX/mmcx connection, your mio should have the port on it somewhere if it will work.
  • They maybe marked at the incorrect price, but just let the manager know and they will manually reduce it to £1.00

I was back in my local Halfords today, and they now do have the correct price on. As I said before the connectors are standard so should fit pretty much any system (I believe they are MCX not MMCX) in either case the packing is not seald, so just take your satnav along and try it.

I remember paying £70 for my first active GPS antenna but that was over 10 years ago...

Yes I just went to the Bolton store and picked a few up, tested it in my Holux GPSlim236 and a Navman Pin570 and it improved the signal as to it working in my house the navman gps is poor and it wouldnt even work sat in the window here I stuck the antena on it and it worked and picked a signal up quickly.
