First of all, you are either a American or you've been watching too many American shows to even think about 20K damages.
Secondly something feels fishy and you are not telling the truth.
Third, if the system is infected with cockroaches, now that the've became aware of it they can refuse to repair it as that sounds a whole lot like negligence to me.0
