  • Well apparently you should switch your bank account to one where you don't have any credit ..... but some banks are linked (like Natwest and RBS) so you have to make sure its not linked with your current bank.

    I was with RBS (have a loan and CC with them) but am moving to A&L - anyone know if they're linked?

    The conversation will be easy. They do the same interview dozens of times a week so as you can guess theyve heard everything before and it'll just be like every other conversation they've had.

    Be calm and honest!

  • OP have you had it yet... how did you get on ?
  • Hiya - Thanks for asking!

    A bit dissappointing really - I got myself all worked up, got all my info ready (and a little drinkie) and when they rang they went through the same things as when I first spoke to them!!

    I explained that I thought I'd be having my 'in depth' call last night and they apologised profusely for the mix up, blamed it on the phone system being changed yesterday??!!! ..... and have arranged for someone to ring me on Thursday night for my financial assessment!

    She said she didn't see there being a problem - but I don't want to get my hopes up too high at this point - will now have to wait until Thursday!

    Helloo :: smiles nervously::

    Ive been reading some of the posts about claiming back bank charges. Im about to hand all my debt details to Payplan.. once this happens.. is it still possible to try to claim back any charges from my 2 bank accounts?

    Ive not in big trouble with them.. but there have been a few times when ive thought the charges have been very unfair.. :confused:

    There is a whole forum on this site regarding claiming back bank charges

    I don't see why you can't give it a shot re: claiming back your bank charges.
