Missing post/postman

Have had no flipping post all week.
Waiting for a few important things too! There are letters from HMRC, the bank (including a new debit card) and various other places, all of whom have assured me letters were sent 1st class last week. I'm also waiting for some glucose tolerance test results to come through that I was told would be posted that afternoon.
Very concerned about where all my post is disappearing to, or whether the postman has decided he can't be bothered to deliver to my road again. Haven't even had the usual torrent of junk mail!

I flipping hope not. If people are paying for first class post to get to me, I shouldn't have to wait over a week for it to get to me!

Has anyone noticed post arriving a lot later than normal? I don't know if I've missed something but I'm getting my post around 3pm now-a-days!

Ours can be anytime between 10.00am and 3.00pm. Used to be nearly always before 8.00am. Changed about 3-4 years ago. Something to do with Royal Mail getting rid of 'Spanish Practices' from memory?

  • Have you tried phoning your local sorting office and asking them about it? They won't know anything's wrong unless people complain.

We had a postie who was storing sacks of mail in his garage.
Love the animals: God has given them the rudiments of thought and joy untroubled. Do not trouble their joy, don't harrass them, don't deprive them of their happiness.

    people,people
whats all this moaning about the time you get mail?
    its modernisation,dont you want that?
every address in the UK gets a delivery 6 days a week
its a legal requirement of RM
if you arent then contact your delivery office and complain

as for skid112 and their one delivery a week by a "supervisor" (whats that? manager?)
well what would that tell you about the reasons for not getting deliveries. who would you think was causing that?

    well its a mad world
spanish practices have nothing to do with a change to start times
    start later,finish later
where do spanish practices come into that?

I have complained, but was told I must not have any post. Asked my neighbours about it earlier, they've had none either.
A fortnight ago I had no post for a week, then had a pile rammed through the door by the postie. Some ripped, muddy, even open! And Lo and behold there were letters dating back up to 10-12 days, including hospital appointments!
