Whilst they still do "traffic shaping" (and there's no indication that's stopped) they're not providing a truly unlimited service.
O2 have annoyed the "hardcore" broadband users (myself included) once already by changing terms mid-contract and mis-selling upgrades, I doubt many will be woo'd back with this - once bitten twice shy and all that.I am an IFA, but nothing I say on this forum constitutes financial advice. Always draw your own conclusions and always do your own research.0 -
Still looks port throttled for streaming , p2p ect ect ..

I'm currently on the Legacy Premium package for £13 a month, very tempted to go on the all rounder now as it's unlimited, I get 16mb download speeds so I guess I will be capped to 8mb when streaming, the guy said it wouldn't be capped for gaming etc which is the most important part. But even if it is capped I can get 6 months free so works out to £6 a month, think that's a good deal for the money!0

Although the blog says 6 months free for customers who have had a mobile >2yrs, how do you apply online for this offer as the website says 3 months free? And are PAYG customers (light usage) eligible?0

That offer is only available over the phone, I'm going to do it today hopefully!0 -

That's a good deal then, I might phone up and see what deals they can offer me if I stay on Legacy, I'll use the loyal customer line and see what I can get
If they don't offer me anything then I'm happy to upgrade to get the six months free deal. 0
