Mike You could always buy a chart ps2 game and sell it on ebay thereby raising the required funds to buy the game you want when it is in stock!

Top post from OP. I bought 14 games from ebay but only 4 different titles. I went into gamestation and he said they would give me £1 for WRC. I then went to MVC and they gave me £5 for WRC, so i did a swap for bust a block or something. But Gamestation have a price promise and they wont be beaten on trade ins. If they are they will match the price and also give you £1 extra!! So i swapped wrc and this is football 3 for 2 game cube games with no extra cost. The blokes face was a picture cos he knew he proably wouldnt get £6 back for WRC!!! . Went to Game and got fifa street and EA rugby 2005. (Bought as Wales won the grand slam and got into rugby at the moment! But its rubbish.) for 99p worked out total spend on 8 games to get 2 worth £29.99 and £34.99, i paid £21.98 for both!!! So dont forget gamecube games seem to be cheaper than xbox and ps2 (although the lady in MVC said they are no longer taking football games, but that just might be the cardiff store) But get in quick from what i heard the offer does end tomorrow.

I've just been to my local Game and actually heard a member of staff tell a customer that the offer ends tomorrow, so get in there quick. Not much good stuff left though, a lot of titles are out of stock.

Is the MVC offer finishing too? I called MVC in london bridge and they didnt know whereas my local GAME in Ilford are ending tomorrow.

Went to Game today & swopped 4 PS2 games for a Robots gba sp & they didn't even open the boxes to see if there was a disc inside!!!!
Also asked about the end date of the offer, which they said tomorrow (30th) but when I mentioned the leaflet stating 6th April they said that was the end date for loyalty customers, so pay your £3.00 & extend the date......

I too traded in 4 old titles at the weekend at the Blackpool Game for GT4.
Whilst I got a fair trade in deal, I spent about half an hour on GT4, and will probably never play it again, it was dreadful !
Talk about hyping a game up !

I asked at my MVC on Monday. They said as long as you have a flyer they can do the offer for you - they just need the barcode. I picked up a couple of flyers there and then and will be doing the offer at the weekend. They had no end date and the manager said it will be going on for ages!

The last day for the offer in GAME was yesterday (30/03/05) - managed to get the last copy of Fifa Street from my local GAME using the trade in offer.

So is it officall the last day was yesterday? Does the 6th April only apply to Game card holders.
