We are all here to do our best at ripping off companies because they rip us off.

There is something about me that takes even more pleasure in doing this to Game because when it comes to computer games they charge far more than anywhere else, and they employ stupid people, but that's another story.

Keep ripping Game off folks, well done to you all.

I own a PS2 and an XBox and find that Gamestation is great for prices - even though I use this site there are the odd places where I think "I'd never pull a fast one on these as they are good".

I hope one day Game goes out of business

A New offer started last night. All chart titles are now included in the 99p offer, Offer on Xbox, PS2, Gamecube & DS.

I got Mario 64 DS last night, i was very happy.

I think you'll find Game aren't being ripped off by this deal.They actively push Store Managers to increase the number of Pre Owned games instore,and this promotion is part of that.
Yes,its so they can make money on your pre owned games,but they are a business.If customers are pleased with trade in deal,then everyone ends up happy.
Personally,I don't like my local Gamestation.Its dark and dingy and I find the staff rude and unhelpful.That is the same with any company,I'm sure Game has bad staff in some branches too.
I'll declare my 'affiliation' with the company.My Hubby is a Store Manager for Game,and has one of the most successful stores so I know that not all Game staff are 'stupid'.
You hope they go out of business for whatever reasons you may have,but they are still the largest games reatiler in Europe so not everyone shares your viewpoint.I'd be interested to know why you are so keen on Gamestation,have you any sort of link with them perhaps?

Oh just another tip.
If this offer comes back in the future and is restricted to certain titles, do the trade in deal and buy one of the selected games.
Take it back next day and exchange it under the 10 day returns policy and buy one of the chart games you do want.
Several people did this in my Hubbys store and there is no problem.

I'm wanting to by Res4 and was wondering if you can use a mix of games on the offer e.g 2 GC and 2 PS2. It just that PS2 games seam to be cheaper when buying 2nd hand.

I took 8 old games in and got Metal Gear Solid 3 and Gran Turismo 4 for 1.98, Bargain!!!!

All the games I had bought cheap on ebay etc!

Yes you can. You can trade PS2 games for Xbox, GC or DS Chart Games

Forget Game (not that I have anything against them), however if you have an MVC near you they're offering the better deal. Take any 4 pants games (including Wrestling and Football games) and take home any PS2, XBOX or Gamecube game.

You don't even have to pay the 99p. I recently bought a stack of rubbish games off eBay, and took them in for Fight Night Round 2 on the XBOX.

You just can't go wrong!

The only thing you need to know is that for MVC to accept your games, they need to be recognised on their system (all 16 games I've taken in so far, even really pants ones, were accepted) and they need to be accompanied by their manual. Also the game disc needs to be in a fit condition, however a few of the games I've taken in had a few scratch marks on them, but there were no probs with that

Also note - if MVC they have had to many of the same games exchanged they will not take anymore of that game :-)
