[CLOSED] Gran Turismo 4 for 99p from GAME with 4 trade-Ins!!

is that Game or MVC in Chorley? I went and asked in both Game and MVC today (in Maidenhead) and was told that the deal was finished.

Has anyone seen a Game or MVC in the Slough/Reading area that's still offering the deal this weekend?

It was Game.

Like I said its not advertised anymore more the two young lads in the shop said no problem, promo still on till Wednesday. I was talking to them about the promotion - they said they had a store room FULL of 2nd hand games that had been swapped in during this promotion - I dont think they'll do it agin for a good while.

Believe me, Game haven't been screwed or ended up losing out.
They deliberately did this offer because such alot of their business comes from Pre owned games.
They were low on stocks and are now full again.
The area management are constantly on at Managers to increase their pre-owned section so this was a national campaign.
Yes, Game will make a nice profit on all the pre-owned games, but if customers were happy with the trade in then we all win.

Absolutely, and for every savvy 'moneysavingexpert' there is someone with no clue who will trade in four quite new games. I saw someone trade in 4 games that included Smackdown v's Raw, Burnout 3 and Prince of Persia Warrior Within with one other. Game will (try to) sell those 4 for about £85, so that person will make the difference up for the another 8-10 people who trade in the cheapest games around. Considering Game probably only pay around £25 max for these new games, even if they sell the traded games for £5 each (which they rarely sell for this cheap) they only lose a fiver on each trade in. Also it get's people through the door which gives them a chance to sell more stuff!

I send an e-mail to "Game" from their website, and received a reply with a day which said if I went into the store before the 6th April, they will honour the 99p deal. It said if there were any problems in store, tell the store to ring customer services on 0870 750 2741. I've printed out their reply to take in today!

I went in today and the accepted the trade in no bother even phoned around the stores to find the game my son wanted.
