[CLOSED] Gran Turismo 4 for 99p from GAME with 4 trade-Ins!!

gutted, i erally wanted gt4. Dug out my old games and brought them with me today.

!!!!, anyone know anyway to get gt4 relativly cheap.

Went to MVC in london bridge today, they wouldnt accept any football or wrestling games so wasted journey, however it appears their offer is still on so you can try at your nearest branch.

So the game one is defo off - even if you have a game card??

I didnt know MVC did them - will ring my nearest one 2mora and real off the games i have... see if theres 4 they will accept

I did have a leaflet from Game which said the offer was until April 6th. Went in store today and they say it has ended. When I challenged them they admitted the offer had been withdrawn early, but if I brought the leaflet in they would honour the deal.
Sounds like they were losing too much money.
Anyhow I can't find the leaflet now !!! :mad:

Anyone know the best way to get rid of 8 games I bought on ebay for about £4.50 each, or even better have the leaflet which they can scan and send me?

You could hang on to them until Game run the offer again...or i've got a leaflet i could send you if you PM me your address...dont know if they accept a scan :-/

I have the 6th April leaflet if anyone wants it but I appear to have misplaced it so I'll have to find it first!

Game were really strict about this offer, obviously losing far too much money, I think they'd be insane to do it again considering how everyone looked so unhappy about it. Some smaller stores wouldn't even stray outside the top 5 for each console stating that it was "chart games only". Shame it wasn't the top 20!

Also certain games like Resident Evil 4 had sold out and we weren't allowed to trade 4 games in and pre-order it which was harsh. Missed out on two games I really wanted in Baten Kaitos (out 2 days later!) and Resi Evil 4.

Got 2 other games instead though, Dixons were selling Rogue Ops and Evil Dead for £8 so I got 2 sets and had me and my brother trade them in 1 set each with other random games, manager was well !!!!!! off cos he'd just served 2 lookalikes who both had 2 of the same (awful-never-gonna-sell) games still in wrapper and everything. I almost pitied him.

Got 2 decent games, but I'm thinking I may wait 4 days or so and return them (they have a returns policy which is pretty good) and I'm wondering how that will work.

They can't give me a refund/credit note or return my games. I can only assume that they will allow me to swap them for any (chart?) game. Inevitably I'll pick the two I wanted in the first place - what do you think my chances are? Have Game been royally screwed or what?

Yeah i've been thinking this too. Got GT4, not over impressed with it. Wanted Resi 4 but was out of stock. Thinking to take GT4 back and exchange for Resi 4 when its back in stock. Dunno if i'm brave enough to try it tho...lol

I must have been quite lucky then as my local Game, honoured the top 40 Games, but when i went in, MGS3 was not in the top 40, which it should have been, so i went in the queue anyway and a guy came round and stuck one of the 99p stickers on it

I also noticed that there was LOTS of people with carrier bags full of games, i wonder why that was:rolleyes:

This is still on in Chorley - just been down and got 2 for the gamecube - dont seem to fussy about the position in the chart either.

Its not advertised in the window but when I asked they said its still on till Wednesday (6th April)
