PMT purchases - eek!

It's not clothes I have trouble with.
I crave fish and seafood the week before. I usually end up cramming the freezer with food we can't usually afford like scampi and prawns. I've even bought a lobster before. :eek:0 -
Sounds like you all need to change the type of pill you're on, if it's resulting in all these crazy hormonal swings. Or perhaps it's time for some HRT...0

I am not on the pill or anywhere near the menopause (I hope!) so will just need to put up with the crazy shopping urges. TBH I can't rememer if it still happens when I am on the pill. I can just imagine my GPs face if I go to him asking to go on the pill because I keep buying blue puffa jackets. He is more likely to refer me to psychiatry than give me a contraceptive prescription lolIf you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -
Oh dear Lordy! I don't think I've ever done this (well, certainly no blue puffa jackets in my wardrobe ) but I've got the coil (bleurgh) at the moment so have not had a natural cycle for a while.
Although I do get the odd symptoms and I did ask DH to get the veg from the freezer tonight. He spent 10 minutes rummaging around before he came out of the cupboard and said "I'll go to the shop to buy a tin of sweetcorn *rolleyes at crazy wife smiley*" And, I had checked 3 times that we had veg before I went shopping
My neighbours DH commented one night that he and my DH wouldn't ever get a decent meal if we didn't live next door to eah other because we're always getting half way through cooking something to find a vital ingredient is missing
Aliasojo, you have had me sniggering aloud many times today. I thank you

 Um. Confession.
I was in Sense yesterday and bought a lovely blouse for work (£3, very MSE) and started trolling the rack marked "Ex-catalogue". The garments there are brand new, still with all the labels and very much reduced from the original prices. I've not touched much before as some of the garments are a bit strange. Bolero blazers, anyone?
Anyway, I've seen this decorated, asymmetric grey waistcoat a few times and not bothered with it........ but yesterday? I had to have it.
I thought it looked really good with the blouse I was already going to buy and I have a lot of grey items so I bought it. £9. MSE, not so much.
Okay, brass sequins anyone? Not kidding. The 100% cotton jersey is covered with what look like teeny tiny washers for fairy plumbers.
When I tried it on at home the waistcoat is so weighed down with all the metal that it keeps sliding off to the front. It rattles like chainmail and it's dry clean only. I really wasn't looking before I bought it, was I?
Maybe I'll get something for the scrap value?:huh: Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
I'm so sorry, Gingernutty, but I'm crying with laughter at your chainmail/scrapmetal PMT purchase.
Good, clean fun....MFW #11 2015 £7657 / £8880
