  • :jWent to asda Yo#k today and asked at cs if the 12x elevenses was a online only offer as instore they were only oering it on the 6x boxes ?? THE LOVELY MAN on cs called the grocery manager to ask him if he was prepared to price match the online price his reply was off course so the cs guy checked online which was still showing the 3 for £2 but he did say on this occ only ?? so i bought 12 x 12 elevenses and 3x 8 squares full price would have been 3x£2.86 + 12x£4.27 =£59.82 and i paid only £10 :TThankyou op and Thankyou Asda for having helpfull and freindly cs staff and dept managers :T

So how many individual cereal bars have you bought?????
  • Went and got my bars today and also used voucher for campbells so got an extra 32p as the soup was only 50p. Hardly ever go to A's and ended up spending another £60 on clothes in there so didnt work out quite as MSE as I wanted it to be:o

    so my order arrived
    charged full price as predicted
driver wouldn't wait while i phoned CS, was in a hurry said he should have finished 1hr ago:mad: cheeky so and so

there were so many cereal boxes (my DH just had a fit) I didn't count them and realised after 5 less than what it says on invoice

The CS call centre is based in S africa!!!!! v nice chap v apologetic refunded the 5 boxes and said nothing else he could now until he spoke to the store tomorrow..........but he was pretty sure I would get a refund

in retrospect think the easiest thing guys is to buy from T''s and stick the recipt into the price checker

Saw this on ukhotdeals originally today with only 6 comments. Went to asda this evening and managed to get 9 boxes of the six bars. Great saving. Thanks to original hotdeals poster made me look.
  • If you buy in store make sure you get the ones at the back so they have the longest date if you're buying loads of them! Sounds like an obvious point to make but I only thought about that as I was about to pay and noticed some of them were even out of date in June this year! (It is 2011 isn't it???) So went back and swapped them all for back ones as I don't know how long it will take to get through them all (got 9 boxes). Most are good til Jan/Feb ish next year. ALL of the Kelloggs Fibre Plus ones were out of date! (They must not be very good?) I did contemplate buying them still and taking them to customer services in hope of getting some sort of compensation like a giftcard if they do such thing! :D Didn't though.
