Have you thought about setting yourself up with proper affiliate advertising? I run a beauty blog and (until recently) I had beauty-related advertising on there - definately recommend twitter/Facebook, commenting on other blogs, signing up to blog directory and use of keywords/tags. Think about your picture titles and blog titles too.
I've got a bit lazy with all that now, but my blogging is strictly a hobby so I've decided I'm not that fussed about it making money.0 -
Thanks Juice
Mine is horses and I am part of a forum of other horse bloggers but only one has adsense and also not bothered about making money. I could never afford to rely on the blog financially but every little helps with the cost of their keep and I do it more as an online diary than anything else to keep track of my competing / training etc. I will look into affiliate advertising (going to go google what that is exactly

Focus on quality, niche content. Use google's keyword tool to find good terms to aim for. Quality always shines through
Try signing up for social bookmarking sites to promote your links. Reddit and Digg are particularly good, also StumbleUpon! And tweet them too
You can set up automatic plug ins to do this with some blogging platforms. 0 -
Twitter is very useful tool. I follow people with similar blogs to me but also people that I find interesting. Bloggers have no problem promoting each other and I often see that in my twitter timeline. tweet each new blog link and comments on other blogs can sometimes help draw traffic to yours. Just keep blogging see what people like most but just do not be afraid to keep goingwould love to be a home owner. hate private rentingscared of debt. almost debt free.
