For example, I've been looking at a flight to Buenos Aires. Now, there's some cheaper flights than BA, but having flown with them a fair few times and never had a problem, I pay that extra more. (plus a non stop flight would sway it for me)
Also, My friend went to China on an Italian airline, but with me having Etihad frequent flyer miles, and knowing the service they provide, I would probably pay that extra to go with them.
I also have loyalty points with Jet 2 and having no problem with them whatsoever, when I go to Spain, I always use them.
Is there certain airlines you avoid? I'm presuming Ryanair and Air France will be the first ones mentioned.
Never set foot on Ryan Air and never will. I also never fly will completely unknown airlines.
I use Monarch and Easyjet for most short trips and One World Partnership airlines for Long Haul.0 -

British Airways Business Class is still the best by a long way in my opinion. Have Air NZ started the 'buy three economy seats' for two people and the seats can be turned into a bed yet?
Using Finnair for a trip to Hong Kong in a month. Very competitive Business fares.0 -

Skyteam KLM/AF because they fly just about all the routes I fly, their flight timings/connections are good except from the odd CDG one, prices are on the low side of average, they look after me because of my loyalty and in all honesty I don't really see any huge differences in quality of service amongst the other options.
Would I fly the likes of Ryanair if i was picking up the tab myself? ..... The answer to that is no because on the odd occasion that I have considered using them to see what they are all about I haven't found the total cost of the flight anything to get too excited about. The MSE Dictionary

Almost all Middle or Far East airlines are far superior in every way.

Of the three you mentioned I've only ever flown Air India a couple of times and I'd put them above BA.
Especially the attentive staff who don't spend their entire flight behind a closed curtain whingeing about their working conditions and sighing with pained expressions on their face when you apologise for interrupting to ask for another drink.
After the trolley run it's hard to see what BA FA's do to earn their industry-leading salaries on a long-haul flight as I hardly ever see them working the aisles.
And the last time I saw one of them smile John King was in charge.0 -
I've never, ever seen BA staff act like that. Which cabin do you usually travel in?Legal team on standby0
