I need help with my son!

I just want to add to check his diet and keep a diary, we have removed everything from DS diet that contains sweeteners - squashes for example, we only have the full sugar versions and they even put them in yogurts. Sweeteners seem to turn my son into an absolute maniac and not giving them has made a huge difference so we try and check everything. I won;t let them have low fat versions of foods either as they have usually been replaced by sweeteners too.
You might be doing that already but if he is having anything with sweeteners in it might be making a huge difference to his behaviour. Likewise things like coco pops or frosties for breakfast which might trigger him for the day. Mine have to have plain cereal with sugar on it. it might be a food that is the trigger so keep a diary as well, you might find it helps. If he is having a cereal bar after school, the effects of it can last for hours.0
