a couple for relationships:
on getting married one of my friends was told by an aged aunt, 'don't start doing what you don't wany to be doing in 30 years time' wise advice as once the patterns are set they're hard to break whether it's in the housework or in bickering etc.
another one said to me by my mother about marriage, 'you make your choice and then you learn to live with it'0
