Bulk Buy SMA baby mik?

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get a bulk buy of SMA Gold First Milk?

I'm paying £8.99 per 900g tin and hes flying through it so I was thinking of getting a few in but wanted to save by doing so!

Any help would be great :)

You won't get formula in any sort of offers, they don't allow it. The only other place I can think is Costco/Makro etc but I'm assuming it'l be similar in price.

As the others have said they legally aren't allowed to do offers on milk for babies under 6 months - I think it's because they want to push BF over bottles.

You do occasionally get offers on the milk for 6m+ so I used to stock up when there were baby offers on.

It is on offer in tesco at the min in their baby event, i saw it today, was defo SMA not sure about the gold one.

Just checked and it is the sma fgollow on milk for £7.
  • As others have said, you won't find "deals" or "bulk buy offers" on any kind of first formula milk as it's illegal to promote it in any way.

It will be the same price (give or take a few pence) wherever you buy it.

I can't believe it is "illegal"!! Agh it makes me so annoyed that we live in a nanny state that says breastfeeding is best - best for who?? As a mum who could not BF any of my three children - I cannot see why it should be illegal to give mothers like me cheaper formula milk for my babies - what else am I supposed to feed them on! :(

I had to buy milk for my son, my health centre used to sell it alot cheaper - worth asking there?
  • You would be very unlikely to find it cheaper, because the government have banned offers on first milks. To promote/encourage breastfeeding.

The formula is available everywhere, so that's what you feed them on!

I don't see why it should be made cheaper?

Because, as a general rule, it's a lot cheaper for the NHS if more people breastfeed.

Ocado do a £15/20 (£60 or £80 spend) off a first shop - If you haven't used them before this equates to a 25% reduction in the cost of formula.
