    Heidi,

it should not take a complaint on a forum such as this for someone from customer care to try and step in to sort things out.

I eventually got my problems resolved but with much frustration and delays, which is not what should be expected from a customer care department.

I should not need to spend hours on the phone over several weeks to have a problem resolved. I expect when someone promises a call back that I actually get a call back within the prescribed time and not have to call again myself and have to go through the whole process again with a new person.

When I call with a problem I should be given a dedicated person who can deal with the problem so if I have to call back I can go direct to that person rather than have to repeat the problems anew to a new person. I prefer to have someone who I can hold accountable for the standard of service provided rather than the anonimity of some random call centre person who is only allowed to give their first name and if you call back trying to speak to that person no one knows of their existence.

The service from Vodafone is lousy and I will have to seriously think about moving my account once my current contract expires.
  • I'm afraid I couldn't agree more! It's plain an awful lot of people feel the same way based on similar experiences. Vodafone's "norm" is simply unacceptable.

Unacceptable, but this model seems to work. Cheap worthless telephone CS with a small efficient group working hard to shut up those unhappy customers who go public or threaten to go to the ombudsman.
  • I hate dealing with anyone in any company who sells a product. Buncha shysters the whole lot of them. Bar none.

    Hi dshart,

I appreciate your comments. It's never good to read that a customer feels so unhappy with the service that they have received.

The reason I post on this forum is to find customers like yourself who need additional help. I can then resolve any issues personally.

I understand that some customers find it frustrating to call up and speak to different advisors. In future, if you would prefer to speak to my team directly, you can do so via the email address here. We will be happy to help with any queries you may have.

    Kind regards,

    Heidi

  • Since I posted about Vodafone I have not been back to read the feedback. Mainly because I fired a complaint direct to their Managing Director which seemed to get the job done after months of trying through Customer Service, (who are still absolutely useless). It didn't last long before I was being given the run around again when I couldn't access my bill online. My 2 year contract comes up in June and I honestly cannot wait to leave them.

    Hi huewen,

It's a shame to hear this.

If you'd like to take a look at things could you email me with your details via the link in our profile here?

All you need to do is copy and paste the link into your web browser and it will take you to the Contact us form on our website.

To ensure that it reaches me could you also quote the code WRT135 - MSE in the subject line and once our automated reply arrives update the thread with your email reference number and I'll get back to you as soon as possible?

    Thanks,

    Lee

  • Hi,

I was mis-sold a mobile contract with Vodafone via one of their partners called Wish Communications. I live in South Wales and I know of 11 other people with the same problem. Our bill trebled after 12 months. I have complained and no one is listening to us. We were scammed and Vodafone will not take action against this company. I have to pay £250 a month for 5 sim cards and an ipad. I am so livid because I have been disconnected. Can anyone help?

Well, what you posted doesn't give any indication of misselling.
If you are sure that you were missold and can prove this, just sue this 'Wish' via an online small claims court.
