How much sex is ok for you?

It's been 8 years since last time for me
Until ex moved out it was 2 or 3 times a week, I always knew when he fancied his chances as he brushed his teeth before bed which he doesn't normally do.
He never helped with the kids or house so I was often too tired but even if I had fallen asleep he'd carry on regardless
I don't miss it at all, probably because I was forced into it so much when I was married and have been put off men for life.
This. Exactly. I used to wake up in tears with it happening. I hated it.
Weirdly enough, the happier I am, the less sex I have. You'd think it'd be the other way around? It's almost like when I was lower and more insecure I had to be doing it all the time- with above mentioned ex it was all the time because I thought that if I stopped at all, he'd go elsewhere. Which I found out in the end was true (either he would go elsewhere or he would force himself on me).
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time0 -
I'm deffo more up for it in the Summer, or on hot hols.Mind you my sex drive has differed with age, and different partners.A younger bloke is a must now for me:D:D;)"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

I'm the same...I go mad when it's warm and sunny, OH can't quite believe it and spends most of the time batting me off like a particularly annoying insect :P

The state charges VAT on condoms.
Anyway, free condoms are a lot cheaper than paying for the consequences of unprotected sex.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -

Unless both kids are sleeping through reliably and you aren't TATT (tired all the time) then once a week if he's lucky seems like quite an achievement to me. I reckon only intense Gina Ford followers can manage to find the time and energy to behave as if they didn't have kids.
The amount of things you have to juggle after kids is huge - kids must be asleep, you must not be knackered to the point of clinging to the floor, no build up of urgent chores, no period or PMT (which seems 10 times as bad now that you are permanently tired and grumpy), enough time before bedtime to ensure you can wake up at the crack of dawn when the first child stirs, etc.
I expect it'll get easier when your youngest is about school age. Not that I'd know. My youngest isn't that old yet!0 -

And then you get them to teenagers & they stay up later than you do & hear everything:eek:Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0 -
