    Don't usually find much at my local (not through want of trying mind you). However, I did come across the wholewheat penne pasta. And stacked up a few packs in my cupboard (the amount of pasta we go through is daft). May go back for a few more if there are any left. I have a little bit of space in my cupboard.

  • I got my first ever 1p item! In my local Tesco there were little silver and gold gift tags in packs of 3..They were marked as 19p with a yellow sticker but scanned through as 1p! They will be brilliant for christmas! I managed to get 10 packs but there was still at least 50 packs on the shelf! HTH :)

    SEL = shelf edge label
    DTD = double the difference.
    If you are overcharged at Tesco they will give you double the difference, best saved for high value items rather than a few pennies.
    I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!

    At Leicester Extra (Beaumont Leys) I managed to get the italian dried lasagne sheets for 17p a pack; no wholewheat penne though. They also had the 3 mini impulse gift box marked at 87p on 2 for 3: so 2 for stocking fillers, 1 for me (perfect handbag size!) thanks all :0)
