Got offered refund and then item for £49.99. I refused as it clearly says on the board behind Customer Services.... in the Unlikely Events things don't add up.... we'll give you double the difference.
Duty Manager came out eventually and said we don't offer that on those.... when I pointed out the noticeboard got the same line.... then he tried to say the date of the offer was 2/10 (yesterday) so I enquired why it was still on the shelf and that it was misleading. He repeated that we don't do DTD on out of date labels. I'm sure it doesn't say that on their board.
In the end I stood my ground and didn't get a refund as I feel I'm in the right and I guess the next step - phone call to Head Office tomorrow?
Any tips.

ps - He gave me the SEL to take away as well.
You might have noticed that I posted a thread last night too about DTD on phones where the offer ended the day before. I didn't even have to ask for it. The CS lady told me that it was their mistake and refunded the £170 straight away on my debit card. Stand your ground! My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
Hi advice needed please, I just brought 3 pilgrims choice on buy 1 get 2 free for £4.07 on checking my reciept at home I find I have been charged for 2 at £8.14 I am about to got back down to get a refund but will I qualify for DTD?
just check you bought the Mature Chedder as this is what the offer is on0 -
Yes it is the right cheese and I brought 3 not 2 as I was charged for. It was a mistake by the cashier only scanning 2 rather than 3Water is a basic necessity - not for profit0

Afternoon everyone,
It looks at though today might be a good day to try a few phones; just got DTD on a BT Strauss 1500 twin, SEL £124.99 down to £59.99 exp 02/10 DTD of £130 :-) I got the same phone DTD in July so this could be an 'every three month' promotion...
If it helps anyone barcode 5016351612590DTD? Just the Job :money:0 -
