BT Stratus 1500 triple digital phones with answer machine have been on offer at less than half price until 2/10. The Newton Abbot store hadn't changed the SEL this afternoon and were still advertised for £79.99. I checked them on a price scanner where they came up at £164.99 so I bought them and got £170 DTD!
As the offer only finished yesterday there might be other stores showing the wrong price too!!!
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Unfortunately not as I start work at 7.30, don't drive and don't actually live in Sl0ugh :(

Good idea cos I reckon from the layout of the shop today, there are more discounts to come it's just a matter of when. Could I be really cheeky and ask you to PM if you go and there is anything good :D

I really want to get some Zhu Zhu pets stuff for my daughter as she loves them but no major discounts on them at the moment.

wilkinson have had some zhu zhu hamster stuff reduced to 50p, im in droylsden though bit far from slough
    Absolutely gutted and heartbroken

Help got a £5 meal deal on Saturday, chicken and bacon pie, garlic bread and Tirimasu, put the receipt in the price checker thingy and noticed that the meal deal offer didn't come off :( I was on a mission on Saturday to find bargains was mostly unsucessful (I did find one set of pro straightners for £4 and got DTD back on mild echiladas) but went to 3 different store hoping to find a hairdryer and came back without one. Travel time to tescos for me is 30 mins each way and so already feeling miserable after spending 3 hours shopping and an hours travel I was gutted to later discover I had left my bank card behind in the last store :(
Anyway is there any point in going back to say about the meal deal not working, I dont even have the pie anymore as we had it for lunch yesterday. It went through the til as 'hot pies' -£3.99 so with the garlic bread and tirimisu an overcharge of £2.19 DTD £4.38 is there any point in going back?

ring the store the number should be on the receipt i know asda refund to a card over the phone when iv noticed id been overcharged. so try tesco, plus they might have your cash card, i left mine in my local tesco and they put it in the til on the cigerette counter and i had to take id to get it back. good luck

Clearly it didn't come through on my Iphone from earlier, but George Foreman Family 5 plate grill - larger box went through tonight at 1p. Only 1 on shelf and had a white refill sticker which was ticked as discontinued...I literally ran out of store with it :j

Will post on the Silly Price electricals thread too.

:rotfl: that tickled me - the thought of you running out the store...very incognito :rotfl:

The problem was though, I bought some beer too on the self checkout. In hindsight the Tesco SA had to check I was over 25 (LOL) so anything which was going to bring a Tesco employee over to my self serve till was not a good move.:doh::doh:. However having escaped that narrow one, I went through the alarm barrier and the couple in front of me had something where the tag went off. I thought it was me and was having kittens (though to be fair, by this stage Mr T, the item was mine:dance:.)

I was chuffed though. I was reading earlier somebody say that the best tip was to look up. Being 6ft 2", this was brilliant advice (I must thank that poster).

I also bought the chicken and leek real meal deal today and the discount didn't come off. I bought all the items which came to £8.32 . I went and told C/S and the assistant was lovely and gave me DTD without me having to prompt and apologised. This was in the Sh1r1ey extra store. It was quite a nice pie for £1.68 lol.
    £5 a day = £155/£150 for Sept challenge :j
    £5 a day Oct challenge = £19.12 / £155

Bought a Quad Phone set tonight. SEL £49.99 went through @ £104.99.

Got offered refund and then item for £49.99. I refused as it clearly says on the board behind Customer Services.... in the Unlikely Events things don't add up.... we'll give you double the difference.

Duty Manager came out eventually and said we don't offer that on those.... when I pointed out the noticeboard got the same line.... then he tried to say the date of the offer was 2/10 (yesterday) so I enquired why it was still on the shelf and that it was misleading. He repeated that we don't do DTD on out of date labels. I'm sure it doesn't say that on their board.

In the end I stood my ground and didn't get a refund as I feel I'm in the right and I guess the next step - phone call to Head Office tomorrow?

    Any tips.

    WJUK

ps - He gave me the SEL to take away as well.
