In the main Huddersfield store today they had a large display box at the end of an aisle with Febreeze and Ambi Pur candles. The backboard had a big sign saying £3. (there was a Sel at the very bottom of the box saying £6 but of course I didn't see this!)

As predicted they scanned at £6 so off to custome service I went and showed her the big sign which she couldn't deny so I got my £54 back and 9 free Febreeze candles!

Assistant remove the £3 sign but may be available in other stores.

I got Febreeze - cotton fresh (in a blue box with lasts up to 30hrs written on) cant remember the Ambi Pur scents but there were 3 listed on sign, think one was spiced apple.

Febreeze barcode ending 58373.

my gf got a 22 inch samsung tv for 50 euro and another guy got 2 32inch tvs for 150 euro each here about 2 month ago . know it happened in other stores to around ireland .
staff mostly had them snapped up b4 they hit the shelfs though

They had stuff going for crazy prices all round the uk, cameras, tvs, satnavs, irons, kettles etc. As you say staff snapped up most of the computers and tvs, I managed a sony camera for £25 and a £200 steam generator for £20.

my gf is tesco staff . i worked out we got about 700 quid worth of stuff . under 100 quid . got about 6 digital cams for 12.5 earch plus discount lol , xmas was all sorted . free if u count the dtd that paid me about 90 euro to walk out with 180 qyids worth of stock lol

I know this may not help out many, if any at all, R@dlet Xprs had a small selection of reduced xmas items, near the drinks. They had the finest xmas pud with courvoisier and cognac, 907g for £1. Bought 2 but left quite a few. BBE Sept 2012. Will go back for more tomorrow. Sitting beside it was the 100g version for 90p!!

My Tesco Express shopping today had the following overcharges that qualify for DTD.

Karvol 12 capsules - white SEL says £2.00, scans at £2.65
Halls Soothers Blackcurrant - white SEL says £0.46, scans at £0.50

Not earth shattering I know but if you are loaded with the cold like me then this might perk you up a wee bit
