hi, finally someone that shops in the same tesco as me!!!!! we should deffo stay in touch...
i had a look and i had no luck either...

Hello! I will have to look out for you or else squirrel stuff away for you and hide them from trouts
A happy wife, and mum to 2 lovely little boys :j
  • I got my 1st DTD today:j

Decided to buy one of the £10.00 meal deals (starter, main course, pudding & wine)
Chose my items & got a couple of bottles of rose wine at £4.99 a bottle.
Went & paid & was charged £29.76 instead of £19.98 as 'meal deal' hadn't kicked in.
Went to CS desk & explained to chap behind the desk then went to show him that I had bought the correct items. The duty manager then came up & agreed that I had the right items & said he would give me the amount I was overcharged back. I told him I was entitled to DTD as I had expected to pay £10.00 not nearly £20.00. At that he pranced off in a huff & I followed the chap from the CS desk back to his desk & without further argument I got £19.56 back:j

Really chuffed at getting the DTD as up until a couple of weeks ago I would just have accepted a refund of the money I was overcharged but since coming onto this thread I have learnt a lot & it has given me the confidence to stand my ground.
    Thank You everybody
  • Can anyone tell me if this works in an Extra,Express,Metro or only in the big tescos - thanks folks

I have only found them in a normal superstore and an extra. Works in both. Not seen them in a metro or express. HTH
