Well I fell quite lucky to shop in Wales
no trouts about!! One lady said "goodness, thats a good deal, I'll have to get some myself." And the woman on SS ended up scanning all my good while I went and got the correct half price bottle of port. I thought, thats it, im done with but all she said was "your bill says Cadburys 3 for £1.20 but you havent bought any. Dont worry, Im to going to say anything" RESULT
I had spun her the line that I was having a Mexican New Years Eve Party and she said that I was the second to tell her that today!!
So after visiting 3 stores, 2 trips in each in order not to make it obvious, this is what I had:-
5 bottles wine (£6 each)
Bottle of port
3x refried beans
3x guacamole
one side of salmon
3x salsa
3x taco shells
3x nachos
3x taco seasoning
3x fajita seasoning
15x tortilla wraps
21x dinner kits
6x mingles
ariel 28 washes gel
twiglets
cheeselets
card
sandwhich
2 butter
milk and fairy
And ALL that came to £56.04 saving a MASSIVE £120.05
Also had Royal Bombay Mix, Barcode ending 8273 for 20p
Plus, while routing around in the reduced seciton, I found a piece of topside that should have been in the half price offer. It wasnt. At £8.99/kg it was £23 something as it was £2.5kg. It was reduced to £15. So I purchased and went to CS. Explained that I thought it was incorrectly reduced. After 20 minutes of explaining to them that it should be £10 at £4/kg and that I had been overcharged, they eventually agreed and reduced it to £8.
So the difference was £7.05 and i had £14.10 DTD. I wasn't expecting DTD if im honest, but Ive got a lovely joint of beef for 95p. That really made my day0 -

Reporting back after a trip to the Extra Store out of town D*rham. No joy on the OEP there and the SA even argued with my husband about the cheapest item being free, so, having got 12 earlier in the day from two Metro stores, we left it as we figured we were pushing our luck.
Quick recce after a coffee to sooth nerves we found the Clipper Tea and Anti Calc at 1p. We used the 5x 30p off vouchers (from the tea) and got £1.50 off the shop and should be able to reuse them as the "please insert your vouchers" slot on the SS till was broken!
I've checked all my receipts from the Metro stores earlier and on each occasion I bought 3 x Fajita/Enchillada OEP Dinner kits (priced from £2/96 to £3.22 each normally) they were correctly reduced to £1.20 for 3 - marvelous.0 -

You are in good company, stu1e.
I just faced the bad conditions on a wasted trip. Tried 2 local stores to no avail
It wasn't illness that prevented me from trying earlier though, I was on vacation. Hope you are feeling a bit better
Toy Story Marbz are now 10p if you find em on a clip strip guys.
Managed to get 3 of the Splenda sweeteners so thanks sunshine!
Carz stickers are 18p on a clipstrip, Tesco demister pad is 25p on a clip strip and Choco Waffles are scanning at 50p
Not a complete wasted trip but I wouldn't have ventured out again for such a small hoard after a 2.5 hr journey home became a 6 hour nightmare
Be careful out there guys!:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A
