Didn't work for me in a metro store. I tried getting 3 of the £2.99 dinner kits on the SS tills, but no offers kicked in  Then I went back and tried 3 of the £3.70 large dinner kits and went to a normal till. I was charged £11.10  I went straight to CS. SA went off to check the shelf. She tried to tell me the dinner kits were not on 3 4 2 - I told her to go back and check the shelf edge label as it clearly said dinner kits were included in the 3 4 2 offer - Then she tried to tell me I had the wrong dinner kits!! it does not specify which kits are included. It just says includes el paso dinner kits. I got fed up arguing with her in the end. We were going round in circles. I got a refund on the kits and told her I was going to contact HO. Think I will fire off an e-mail now...

El paso did not work at Doncaster Extra, £3.22 each pack with no discounts for three packs. The Mingles worked though, bought 10 packs for stocking fillers.

Old El Paso glitch NOT working in Allerton Rd - which is not billed as an Extra although it is very big, so would probably class as just standard Tesco's. I got 3 of the kits but went through at full price so went to CS and pretended I had thought they were 3 for 2 and got refund!

However on a brighter note I did find the £1.01 Mingles so got some of them!!

I didn't even find any mingles! oh well, I have plenty of kokos:)
  • Old El Paso glitch working beautifully at D*rham (City Centre Metro) and S*nderl*nd (Metro).

Got trouted at D*rham, well almost, I put all three through but hadn't pressed the "finish and pay" at the SS till. Trout face came over and asked how many I had. Told her three. Asked how many I was paying for (Cheek!) and I pointed out there were three on the screen. (1 at 2.96, 1 at 2.97 and 1 at 3.22) I asked if there was a problem and she stomped off. Then I hit "finish and pay" and the glitch kicked in. Marvelous.

Sunderland had Taste the Difference Oak Smoked Ham joints reduced to £4.99 per kg. Picked a nice big piece with no sticker, went through at full price so I DTD and got paid to take it away.

No Old Speckled Hen 4 packs, so will have to try the big Metro on the outskirts of D*rham on the school run this afternoon.

And the snow was pretty there and back!

Mexican New Years Eve Party sorted!!!!!

loving this deal... quick question re my maths though
    refried beans £1.36 x 3 = £4.08
    on receipt it then says:
    dinner kit 3 f 2 c/free = -£1.36
    cadbury 3 > £1.20 = -£2.88

    total to pay 4.08-1.36-2.88 = -0.16

so i got all the refried beans for free and 16p off my bill

is that how it's working for everybody, i am confused by people saying you get 3 items for £1.20 when i am getting 3 for free and 16p change

does it vary by store how much discount it knocks off?
  • Hi,

First time ever reading the site.... it won't be the last!

Just sucessfully used the elpaso glitch in Ch*st3rf13ld extra, bought individual items rather than dinner kits.

9 paso items in total plus a KoKo and can of monster, original total of £15.10, glitch total of £2.15.

Tried to go back for another batch, but the trout came over and stopped me as I hit 'finish & pay'... excuses made (I really was on lunch break) and left the transaction unfinished.

Its the first time i've found a glitch like this since Xmas '04, they were doing 2 boxes of afer eights for £0.82!

Merry Christmas, looking forward to a frugal 2012!

Didn't work in Pr£sc0t Liverp00l (Extra), although it did say 3 for 2 on all dinner kits so I got DTD on them as it went through at full price :) paid about 90p each after dtd!
