  • DTD is their own policy so if CS (customer service) does not honour it call the Tesco Head Office (HO): 0800505555 and complain.

I must be lucky in having a good CS desk at my Tesco's cos they are really helpful and I've never had any bother with them. Last year I bought 3 boxes of Thorntons chocs when they were reduced to £6 each, but the SA put through 6 of them so I went to the desk to get a refund of the extra 3, and they automatically gave me £36 back even though technically I hadn't been charged more than what the SEL said, just for more items. I've never had to ask for DTD it has always just been given.

Hi have you ever tried the self scanning trolleys in alfreton wondered if they worked better than running to the 2 scanners on the wall which neither are working now, think they have scuppered them on purpose. I did manage to get 6 cono sur wine which was priced up at £15.98 put in the wrong place but scanned at £2.19.

Beer deal working is on reduced items. Just picked up 4 dented packs of beer labelled at £4 each and the £7 discount (4 for £25 offer worked) so £9 total for approx 43 tins.

Just back from Bulwell Tescos in Nottingham and found that KELLOGGS COCO POPS MOONS AND STARS 370g were on offer on the end display for £2.68 BOGOF, when it went through the till, it went through at 67p BOGOF. A nice find if you like moons and stars like my children. Loads on the shelf about 5 o'clock today the other bonus is on every pack you get a childs free swim. happy days, happy hunting.

Just a quick stop by for me - was in a Metro at lunchtime and got DTD on the Glade candles that are on B1G2F. Promo didn't work so got £16 DTD back for 3 candles.

Snack salami B1G2F still working as it should.

Oh, and got the bag of 240 Tetly on offer for £4 - £1 coupon even though the SEL hadn't been updated. All in all very happy bunny x

    Glade candles
This is working in Hucknall tescos at lunchtime,100's left, 3 areas in store with cardboard surrounds with a small SEL B1G2F on the bottom of the boxes. it is OOD but they still have to give you DTD. happy hunting. x

This is for the new people on the site,
    • Paid £12 for x3 candels (should have been £4) as B1G2F.
    • Overcharged by £8 at the till.
    • Went to CS desk and told them whats happened
    • They checked
    • I was refunded Double The Difference.
    • I got £16 refunded to my card
    • I Walked out with 3 candels and paid £4,
    • Happy days.:T
