Just been into my brand new Tesco ... and NO SCANNING MACHINES!!!!! I felt like calling the manager down and asking if he knew how customers NEED those machines in the store!! How can I make their life a misery with all by bargains and DTD's if I can't check them out beforehand ;)

Might start a petition and stand outside with a placard, make them listen :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Good News - it's 24hr so can nab early/late bargains :D

Bad News - Takes me forever to get around as it's a new local one so it's 'Hiya, how are you' every 5 bloody minutes, lol.

Love it though ... might go back tomorrow just for the hell of it :p:p

also noticed most of the better than half price wine deals finish today so might be worth keeping an eye on them tomo if the labels arnt removed im well and truly stocked up on red, could do with a rose for xmas :)

Were the nuts reduced to clear or just scanning at the wrong price? If there was no warning that they were OOD, speak to the Duty Manager, explain how disappointed you were by the actions of a big company. If that doesn't lead to a gift voucher try mentioning Trading Standards. The fine for OOD stock if found by TS is £1000 per item. They should give you at least a fiver not to go to them :rotfl:

NOT against any law to sell items AFTER their BEST BEFORE date.

Indeed there is place that is HIGHLY PROMOTED on MSE that DOES NOTHING BUT THAT ! :)

    .. AND ... they're 34p instead of 3 or 4 times that price because .....

Oh that's right - THEY'RE OLD STOCK :rotfl:

Was gonna try to pop in here today but decided that I just didn't have the time to do it justice ... that and I thought there wouldn't be anything lurking at the back of shelves with OOD b/c etc :o

    Did you get any bargains?
