Were the nuts reduced to clear or just scanning at the wrong price? If there was no warning that they were OOD, speak to the Duty Manager, explain how disappointed you were by the actions of a big company. If that doesn't lead to a gift voucher try mentioning Trading Standards. The fine for OOD stock if found by TS is £1000 per item. They should give you at least a fiver not to go to them :rotfl:

They did have a yellow label with the old price crossed thro, i spose theres no harm in going back whats the worst that can happen?

NOT against any law to sell items AFTER their BEST BEFORE date.
Indeed there is place that is HIGHLY PROMOTED on MSE that DOES NOTHING BUT THAT ! :)
    .. AND ... they're 34p instead of 3 or 4 times that price because .....
Oh that's right - THEY'RE OLD STOCK :rotfl:

lol i know its reduced because its old stock, but i would have thought it should have said about BB even my little corner shop has a bin of reduced stock with a label saying reduced due to BB expiry.

Chocolate was scanning full price at Tesco in Alfreton, express in Ripley and Tesco in Heanor. No Cono Sur wine at all anywhere :(

As for the chickens :( Im so upset! Tesco in Alfreton, picked up the Tesco Finest chickens which were supposed to be half price but they were priced full. Went to customer service, she went and checked. Said i cant figure out why they are different prices to the half price, maybe the bar codes are different. I said dont you double the difference if youve been overcharged? She didnt answer. Gave me a full refund and took the chickens back to put back on shelf. Slightly angry right now! I thought the policy was to double the difference in what you had been overcharged and let you keep the product?

alfreton is the worst store i have ever been in.

wouldnt do bogof on capuccino rang ho who told me to go back and they would ring and let me have.

i got 4 then up to 6 as good will :eek::eek: wow cost me more in petrol = tried to get 10 :eek: bnot having nay.:mad::mad:

Just a quick stop by for me - was in a Metro at lunchtime and got DTD on the Glade candles that are on B1G2F. Promo didn't work so got £16 DTD back for 3 candles.

Snack salami B1G2F still working as it should.

Oh, and got the bag of 240 Tetly on offer for £4 - £1 coupon even though the SEL hadn't been updated. All in all very happy bunny x

Where did it say the Glade candles were b1g2f? Just had a look on the website and no offer is shown?

Same question as above. An explanation of how this works added to the first post would help. In my local tesco I have spotted an item which was £10 which is now half price, £5. If it scans at £10 will I receive the difference times two. £5 x 2 = £10? Do I keep the item and can I buy more than one?

Yes that is the way DTD works two time the deiffernce overcharged. Yes you keep the item and yes you can buy more than one, however I have noticed the more I have of an item the harder I have to fight for my DTD
