hi in w'ton extra today there was none of the above left but lots of other different packs. i got a pack of red and white ones with stars on and they scanned at £1.75 and had a sel of £3.50 so if you can try some of the others its worth a go

I have the same question - I did my first on line order yesterday and the wine I wanted was OOS and as I has chosen no substitutes my shopping came to £17 instead of £50+ but they still gave me the £15 off £50 shop so is it worth me phoning to complain as I bought 6 selection boxes and was charged for all 6 or will they remove my £15 discount as I hadn't spent enough?

I was in warwick tesco and got 6 boxes of
Nestle Large Selection Box 8 Full Size Bars

went through till at 6x £3 and no discount(B1G2F).
paid the £12 overcharge at till then went to customer service desk.
explained that the TV AD said valid until 22/11 and when they called over duty manager I showed them a copy of the AD on my phone and they honered the offer and gave me back double the overcharge.
so got paid £6 to take away 6 selection boxes

I have uploded a copy of the clip to youtube for those of you that dont have it.

TV ad says offer ends 22/11 so now the shelves seam to have stock again go in and get yourselfs some boxes:beer:

i argued the toss over this today and was told that they have ended the offer as of yesterday even though the advertising states offer ends 22/11 and they will no longer honour the price as they "reserve the right to end the offer early" as per t&c small print

I find this seems to be happening more and more at tesco lately they have offers on yet no stock availble but as soon as its finished the shelfs are full :mad:

Well done and thanks for the clip.

For anyone else thinking of trying this, it's worth bearing in mind that the DTD policy as written on their boards only applies to the price shown on the shelf or on the product.

Therefore Customer Services could legitimately argue that it doesn't apply to TV or newspaper adverts.

I photographed stills from the advert (with a nice zoom in of the date)and was told that while it said it ended on 22nd on the TV they could withdraw offers at any time and it had been withdrawn from store. I think I might have been able to push for getting 3 for 1 (but I got plenty last week and cba), but DTD was definately not gonna happen. I just got a refund. I just think you were lucky letmelogon, but well done!

ILLOOM LIGHT UP BALLOONS, tesco have 2 types of 5 Illoom mixed LED balloons, the ones that are scanning at 8p have pink, white, orange, yellow and green balloons in the pack and also has a round sticker bottom right of the packet saying MIXED on it, the SEL was £3.50 but scanned at 8p, on the back of the packet the bar code is 1014701005. I scanned all of the other light up balloons in the range and found that only the red and white star balloons was going through at £1.75 sel was £3.50. happy hunting. :wave:

well nice to get some luck. been in everyday to try and get some galaxy boxes but just none to be found. and on saturday cadbury and milkybar £1 packs but both leamington and warwick insisted that they are not selection boxes but selection packs so would not honor the offer even though they were listed online as B1G2F and tesco helpline would not over rule the store but were willing to log a complaint and get someone form the warwick store to get back to me saying it may not be until monday, well it's monday and I'm still waiting to hear back from someone in the warwick store about my complaint.

think I will give warwick another go,

It's interesting how when I look at the tesco website every selection box is "Sorry, this product is currently unavailable."
