    I bought 12 rivway sausages SEL £2.00
They went through at full price £4.39
I went back to double check the label then went to CS for my DTD
However when she went to look, came back and said no label there!!! Obviously she must have taken it off because checked one minute before! Trout!
Anyway might be worth looking out for at your local :)

Always double check the SEL again after being turned down ... the same happened to me recently and they'd conviently been looking in the wrong place. I went back to CS and got them to accompany me back to SEL ... then got my DTD and many apologies:j
  • got a pair of 4p shoes yesterday and grey dressing gown. the gown had the £16 price on the front but it wouldnt scan on ss. after many goes i just put the shoes through and paid. I stupidly put my bag on the scales so it called for the sa to verify. When she saw the price if the shoes she said "you can't have them at that price" and she took them. i told her they were mine as i had paid and if she took them she would be stealing ( A fact i found on here;)) she calls over supervisor who tells me the same. i calmly repeat myself. He aggressively tells me that i havent bought them i say i have and i have a receipt. security comes over and he relays the story and security tells him to let me take the shoes and just take the barcode so he can change it on the system.
some of tescos staff really are bullies!

shame i couldn't get the robe though

Just keep trying. Rewards points are exchangeable for itunes vouchers from this morning, so website will be experiencing very heavy traffic.

I don't know how old the grocer article is but saying you can make a profit on dtd (price check) is wrong, you just get the differance back.

Anyhow, after a number of complaints regarding pulling dtd (price check) and still advertising via store, t&c and the television. ASA have given Tesco a telling off and ordered them not to use this material again as it was false. Tesco did try to argue that they pulled dtd (price check) quickly as savvy shoppers (mse & the likes) were taking advantage of the scheme. ASA responded by basically telling them that they had no evidence of this ad they should not be false advertising.

Her is to all those who complained - well done

I have the full report but it makes awfull boring reading......
    SIMPLES!

    From "Wife of Martini":
"go cook" kitchen utensils on 3 for 2 offer.
No SEL stating 3 for 2 so assumed it wasn't working!
Bought 3 items all with 3 for 2 stickers and went thro' at full cost.
Good lad on CS desk gave DTD on most expensive item which was good!
Look out for the red and black "go cook" labels and the "3 for 2" stickers.
    Keep Smiling

I did wonder what deal was causing the outage!
Thanks, I will try again later.
