Hi welcome!
You'll need a pen, paper, and a good hour or so to search through posts on here!
My advice if you don't have the time is to look for sels (shelf edge labels) that say rtc in little letters. Generally on a yellow label but sometimes White. It means reduced to clear.
For the real bargains you'll have to invest time scanning items instore, looking for out of date offers and reading on here. Hope you share any finds!..(/(/

NikkiC1980 welcome to MSE! I'm in Essex too and certainly near me (Harlow area) things seem to be a bit sparse. The freezer section is worth checking as our store has had some (presumably end-of-line) bits there with yellow SEL's - there was some of the 22p pasta that's been mentioned too, but that's been about it of late. Good luck and happy hunting, though!
Funny how I have 13 thanks on that post isnt it, so obviously a few people agree. Personally I wouldnt call it "rough edge of a bad mood" I'd call it HONESTY;)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
I am assuming that your quote below is in response to my original post. Firstly as a newbie and as everyone seemed like decent people on here I just thought I would add a post to get some feedback in the right direction, I didn't expect a childish rant and I certainly wasn't looking for sarcasm. I thought it was a website where people helped each other and once I got used to looking for the bargains I would without a doubt let people know. Anyway sorry rant over just a bit fed up of seeing a nasty post when its my first time on here and didn't mean any harm. Can I just say, and I'll probably be shot own here , but what is really peeing me off at the moment is all the posts I keep seeing from newbies saying "Anyone know of anything in ~~~~~~ branches?" As if anyone going to answer back with "Oh yes I've left you a bed guard and 2 pairs of pyjamas in that store" Everyone helps everyone, but to newbies, it''s a case of hunting stores, searching and to be honest putting in the leg work. If you need to know something about a deal someone will always help you, but no one is going to specifically tell you what's in particular T's
Sorry rant over just getting a bit fed up with it:(

Hi Nicki. Don't know whether you've found it yet but if you go to the sub thread "Gone but was it any good" and find the "Tesco Discussion chat and grabbits 11+" you will find a lot more info. Some on the MSE threads can be a bit prickly at times, for various reasons,so don't worry about it. Once you get involved you will find people more than ready to help:DAwaiting a new sig0 -

They actually gave you twice as much as they ought to have done. You were overcharged £17.50 so should have refunded you £35 not £70. Boy, are they gonna be in hot water! Hope it wasn't a newly employed member of staff on trial :A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

hi to Nikki1980, my sis lives in Harlow so I know it quite well. Edinburgh way isn't that great cos the electricals are very few and the store isn't that big. Maybe church Langley is your best bet. However, the infamous jelly glitch did work in both cos my sis tried it on my advice.
but asda always had loads of whoopsies as does sainsburys. If i was you i just try lots of different money saving schemes like coupons and boots glitches and try me free. don't worry nikki the harder you try the more sucessful you get. Just wait until you get your first dtd.
Please keep us updated on your finds, soon you'll even be creating new threads yourself:T
And by the way well done to Nikkala for quitting smoking, it does get easier:jgrocery challenge 9.86/600
