It's hard at Grimsby because of the lack of scanner. I've found the staff there really helpful tho.
If I venture over that way I go to the huge Extra in clee

There is a scanner , it's at the end of one of the aisles on your left as you walk straight down towards the electricals.

Im a newbie to the DTD game . Just to be clear , and maybe help other peeps , I assume you have to actually buy the item , and then take it to Customer Service. Upoun doing do you have to state that you didnt notice it scan / charge you at the wrong price ?
It might be worth adding some sort of text about this on the first post if possible ?
  • Hi there, really new to this but keen to grab my first bargain . Anyone know of anything in Essex branches?

Can I just say, and I'll probably be shot own here , but what is really peeing me off at the moment is all the posts I keep seeing from newbies saying "Anyone know of anything in ~~~~~~ branches?" As if anyone going to answer back with "Oh yes I've left you a bed guard and 2 pairs of pyjamas in that store" Everyone helps everyone, but to newbies, it''s a case of hunting stores, searching and to be honest putting in the leg work. If you need to know something about a deal someone will always help you, but no one is going to specifically tell you what's in particular T's ;) Sorry rant over just getting a bit fed up with it:(

N3w Osc0tt store used to have 2 scanners but now doesnt have any so its tricky to check any of these out. Are Tescos in the process of removing scanners from stores to prevent people finding these bargains now?

Dear me, you ARE having a bad day aren't you! Anyone else going to get the rough edge of your bad mood?

NikkiC1980 welcome to MSE! I'm in Essex too and certainly near me (Harlow area) things seem to be a bit sparse. The freezer section is worth checking as our store has had some (presumably end-of-line) bits there with yellow SEL's - there was some of the 22p pasta that's been mentioned too, but that's been about it of late. Good luck and happy hunting, though!

Our store is the same - used to have two, now both have been removed. I go to the self-scan to check stuff now.
