    £50 for a hard drive.
  • Just out of curiosty.
How long and how much did you spend on phone calls between dell and Samsung, and how frustrating was it?
Is it really worth the bother?
I have suggested in other similar posts to bypass all the wishful thinking and frustrating phone calls and just go buy a new hard drive, get it fitted.
Other pple have suggested the hard way , like pay for data recovery, argue with dell etc etc etc.
Spend a lot of money and time doing all that crap.
Save a lot of time, money and grief and from now on just buy a new part, fit it yourself.
