PCN From Wing Parking - Enforceable??

Clamping on private land is now illegal. So nothing to worry about. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

I was recently ticketed by Wing the day the housing association decided to render my permit obsolete by issuing a different coloured one, which my girlfriend was actually on the way to their office to obtain.
While that's a bit of a farce my issue is obviously with Wing themselves. I am aware of the general rule to ignore such tickets but they have my details, (well just my reg thus far) and my car will always be located in my car park. The signage refers to clamping and release fees. I am unaware of the current legal status of that process but am concerned this is a course of action they could take in the event of me failing to pay.
See your "surname" ? That's all the Wing letters and tickets really are.
Ignore them and they'll go away. They can't clamp you as it's illegal. All aboard the Gus Bus !0 -
Thanks all for the reassurance. However I hope you can understand my concern as I have to park my car with the outstanding fine outside my flat on the land they 'enforce'.
Appalling tactics from the housing association though as they clearly instructed Wing to visit the car park on the day they declared the old permits to be invalid. Previously they are seen about once a year.0 -
Why have u called it a fine,
Its no such thingFor everthing else there's mastercard.
For clampers there's Barclaycard.0 -

Is your space included in your lease?
If so, you are as entitled to your "quiet enjoyment" of it as you are in your flat and perfectly entitled to instruct your HA to stop the PPC from operating on it, so the problem is solved.
And yes, a new thread really is needed here as the original one is out of date.0 -

I got a parking ticket while parked outside my house, my disabled badge was on full display in the window but when i viewed the photos the traffic warden took online the disabled badge isn't visible in any of the photos.
am i right in thinking they need to at least show i had one there?
It is wing security BUT they have sent bailiffs to our house before so i don't want to ignore it0 -
