Its absolutely disgusting,i wouldnt give it to a tramp, bits of food on the front and back and on the sleeves, big yellow stain on the back and 3 yellow stains on the front, the stripes are supposed to be blue and white, there not white they look like a dirty white and its wreaks, like its been kept in a moldy shed
I have contacted her should i wait for her reply or open a case on ebay?0 -
Her reply 'it wasnt when i sent it!' no offer of a refund. that old chestnut,it wasnt when i recieved it,o so in the 24hrs of u sending it to it reaching me someone must have unpackaged it and let there child wear it then packaged it back up,yeah ok0

I only sell when I need to sell something - it's not my full-time business. And if the item's small enough, I'll take it with me to post from my current location.
Are you saying that I (and countless other 'average people') should be banned from selling on eBay, just in case they're a bit slow replying to emails / getting to the post office if they get sick? Wasn't eBay originally designed to be for everyone who had something spare to sell on?
you'd get marked down by me if most of these lack of "mutual conveniences" were your fault0 -

Regardless of how often I sell, I work hard to get things out next day. It's all about respect for your buyers and their money - not whenever is convenient for you. If you don't have time to sell, you shouldn't in my opinion do so."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

Then when someone marks you down, and you come running to the forums to complain...
It hasn't happened yet though100%
Anyway, I am at least honest enough to put details around collection on my listings. For that particular one it said something like, "I work in London during the week but can be available to meet you any Friday, Saturday or Sunday".

Also check your DSRs. 100% feedback means nothing if you have restrictions for your stars falling below average in even one of the criteria."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

Yes, that's good, but people do expect a lot, so you've got to be prepared to be beholden to them. Trying to dictate your terms and forgetting that the buyer is really in charge - he who pays the piper and all that - is, in poorer sellers than you obviously, the quickest way to suspension even without accumulating so many negs. Acknowledging and playing to your customers' expectations is a better way to sell than expecting them to come to you.

Of course everything you say is true (and I haven't had enough DSRs yet), but I'm not going to rearrange my life or take a month off work just to flog something on eBay. It's just what we're saying about the difference between professional sellers and the average Joe with something in his loft. As long as that seller is upfront about their restrictions, it's up to the buyer to choose whether or not to bid within those restrictions.
Anyway, sounds like the OP has got much bigger problems now!Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0
