My Mum showed positive with her first child, but not with her next two. My sister showed negative with both her kids. With the second one her doctor refused to believe she was pregnant and wouldn't send her for a blood test and scan until he started to kick!
When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.

    njc - I was 2 weeks late and 5 tests showed negative. She's nearly 4yo now ;) .

I'd been pregnant twice before and knew my signs regardless of what the test said, so I saw my GP who gave me a blood test that confirmed pregnancy.

Pam17 - some women with PCOS find that their symptoms improve if they follow a low carbohydrate diet. Atkins is a bit extreme but you could try something like the GI diet instead.

I'm not a doctor and you should do your own research before starting a diet just because I say so ;)
  • I kept hold of your last thread NJC12, but thought I'd add to this one as more recent. Do let us know how you get on!

I've just realised I've recently been having 35 day cycles, which means another 2 weeks before I can do a HPT :grr: and I'm feeling awful!

Hi Littlestar thanks for asking

I've not really got any news I'm afraid!! I went to the doctors - he packed me off to the hospital for a blood test (which i had to wait 90 mins for!!!!) and I should get the results by Wednesday! I don't have any idea which way it will go but will post on here to let you know.

    Take Care,
